**Account Executive (Part\-Time)**
**SMB SaaS Sales \| Inbound \+ Outbound \| Nationwide**
**Department:** Sales
**Employment Type:** Part\-Time Contract (20 hours/week)
**Location:** Remote (U.S.\-based only)
**Reports to:** Director of Experience / Leadership Team

Pomp is building the operating system for estheticians. We help skincare professionals grow their businesses through a modern SaaS \+ marketplace platform that enables client communication, personalized skincare routines, storefronts, education, and recurring retail revenue, without inventory or operational overhead.
**About the Role**
We are looking for a highly motivated, sales\-driven Account Executive to own inbound lead conversion and aggressive follow\-up across our esthetician pipeline nationwide. This is not a passive account management or enterprise sales role. We need someone who thrives in high\-velocity SMB SaaS sales environments, moves quickly, follows up relentlessly, and knows how to turn interest into action.
You’ll spend your time:
* Running discovery calls and demos
* Following up across email, text, and phone
* Re\-engaging stalled leads
* Converting inbound demand
* Prospecting outbound opportunities
* Helping estheticians understand how Pomp can grow their business
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, persistent, comfortable with ambiguity, and energized by closing business in an early\-stage startup environment.
**What You’ll Do**
**Inbound Lead Conversion**
* Respond rapidly to inbound leads and demo requests
* Run discovery calls and live product demos for estheticians nationwide
* Clearly communicate Pomp’s value proposition and business impact
* Guide leads through the sales process from first touch through activation
* Maintain consistent, persistent follow\-up until a clear outcome is reached
**Pipeline Management \& Follow\-Up**
* Own daily pipeline activity and CRM organization
* Build and manage structured follow\-up cadences across calls, email, and SMS
* Re\-engage dormant leads and improve conversion across the funnel
* Track sales activity, pipeline movement, and conversion metrics
* Identify common objections and help improve sales messaging
**Outbound Prospecting**
* Conduct outbound outreach to estheticians, solo practitioners, and small skincare businesses
* Prospect through social media, referrals, events, and strategic targeting
* Generate new opportunities independently in addition to inbound demand
* Support lead generation initiatives and campaign follow\-up
**Sales \& Customer Activation**
* Ensure smooth handoff into onboarding and activation
* Help new estheticians understand the platform and immediate business value
* Identify high\-potential users and opportunities for upsell into higher tiers
* Gather feedback from prospects and customers to improve the sales process
**Startup Collaboration**
* Work closely with leadership, marketing, and product teams
* Help refine sales playbooks, messaging, and outbound strategies
* Contribute ideas and insights as we continue scaling the business
**What Success Looks Like**
* Fast response times to inbound leads
* High demo\-to\-close conversion rates
* Strong pipeline management and follow\-up consistency
* Increased activation and subscription conversion
* Consistent outbound pipeline generation
* Clear ownership and accountability over sales KPIs
**QualificationsRequired**
* 3–6\+ years of experience in SMB SaaS sales, inside sales, or high\-volume account executive roles
* Proven track record of hitting sales targets in a fast\-paced environment
* Experience selling to small businesses or independent operators
* Strong discovery, objection handling, and closing skills
* Comfortable conducting demos virtually
* Highly organized with strong follow\-through and urgency
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Self\-starter mentality with the ability to work independently
**Preferred**
* Experience in beauty, skincare, wellness, creator economy, or independent business tools
* Early\-stage startup experience
* Familiarity with HubSpot or modern CRM workflows
* Experience with high\-touch follow\-up and nurture sales motions
* Comfortable balancing both inbound and outbound sales activity
**What This Role Is Not**
* Enterprise SaaS sales
* Large deal\-cycle or procurement\-heavy selling
* Territory management or field sales focused
* Passive account management/customer support
This is a hands\-on sales role for someone who loves pipeline movement, follow\-up, and closing SMB business.
**Compensation**
* Part\-time contractor role (20 hours/week)
* Hourly compensation range: $25–$35/hour based on experience
* Uncapped commission structure tied to new subscription conversions, activation milestones, and higher\-tier plan upgrades
* High earning potential for strong closers in a high\-volume sales environment
Typical earnings at target performance are expected to range from approximately:
* $40K–$80K\+ annualized at consistent attainment
* Top performers may exceed this range due to uncapped commissions
