Backend & Integration Developer (Remote, Contract)

We're looking for a backend\-focused developer to support our Lead Developer in building and maintaining data integrations and backend services. This is a hands\-on role for a generalist who prefers vanilla code over heavy frameworks. You'll spend your time moving data between systems, writing SQL, and building lightweight workers. **What You'll Work With** * **Infrastructure:** Cloudflare Workers/Pages, cron scripts * **Database:** Supabase (PostgreSQL), Airtable * **Languages:** Vanilla JS, PHP, HTML, CSS * **Legacy systems:** WordPress/WooCommerce (sysadmin side), Shopify (backend API) **What You'll Do** * Build and maintain integrations between Shopify, WooCommerce, Airtable, and Supabase * Develop lightweight backend services on Cloudflare Workers * Approach projects database\-first — structure before UI * Handle basic UI tasks using minimal frameworks on Cloudflare Pages/Workers * Monitor cron scripts and troubleshoot data flow issues * General data maintenance across Airtable and spreadsheets **What You Bring** * Comfort working in a terminal (SSH/CLI) * Solid understanding of SQL and relational database design * Clean Vanilla JS and PHP * Experience with API\-based integrations (Shopify and WooCommerce preferred) **Details** * Remote, work from anywhere * Contract / 1099 Pay: $45\.00 \- $75\.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
