**VOLUNTEER POSITIONS — NOT CURRENTLY PAID** **BLACK GIRL MAGIC DAY IS CURRENTLY SEEKING VOLUNTEER TEAM MEMBERS.** **THESE ARE STRICTLY VOLUNTEER POSITIONS AT THIS TIME — NOT PAID POSITIONS** Please do not apply if you are currently seeking immediate paid employment. **Black Girl Magic Day** is a growing nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering, mentoring, and supporting young girls through community programs, education, leadership development, and impactful experiences. As we continue building and awaiting larger grant funding and sponsorship opportunities, our team is currently volunteer\-based. Most of our team members work full\-time or part\-time jobs while also dedicating their time and energy to helping build this organization because they genuinely care about making a difference in the community and helping young girls thrive. **STARTUP\-STYLE ENVIRONMENT** Black Girl Magic Day is currently operating in a startup\-style growth phase. This means we are actively building systems, programs, infrastructure, partnerships, and internal operations as we continue expanding. We are seeking adaptable, proactive, solution\-oriented individuals who are comfortable helping build and grow alongside the organization. This is not a traditional corporate environment. Team members may occasionally wear multiple hats, contribute ideas, assist across departments when needed, and help us continue building strong foundations for long\-term growth and impact. **OPEN VOLUNTEER POSITIONS:** * Volunteer Operations Manager * Volunteer Administrative Coordinator * Volunteer Public Relations (PR) Coordinator * Volunteer Treasurer (experience preferred) **POSITION REQUIREMENTS:** * Minimum commitment of 5 hours per week * Ability to regularly check and respond to emails * Strong communication and professionalism * Reliable and team\-oriented * Comfortable working in a startup\-style nonprofit environment * Willingness to take initiative and help build systems * Passion for helping young girls and serving the community **ABOUT THE ROLES:** **Volunteer Operations Manager** * Assist with operations, scheduling, event logistics, organization, workflows, and team coordination. **Volunteer Administrative Coordinator** * Assist with emails, onboarding, scheduling, organization, digital files, and administrative support. **Volunteer PR Coordinator** * Assist with media outreach, partnerships, social media visibility, branding, and public communication. **Volunteer Treasurer** * Assist with budgeting, financial organization, donation tracking, reporting, and nonprofit financial support.
