Bookkeeper Reports to: Controller Salary Range: $55,000\- $70,000 Hybrid or Remote Managed Group LLC is seeking a detail\-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to support daily financial operations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast\-paced environment supporting multiple financial processes and stakeholders. This role plays a foundational part in maintaining accurate financial records by supporting core accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and transaction processing, while assisting the accounting team in maintaining organized and compliant financial data across business units. Responsibilities: Record day\-to\-day financial transactions, including expenses, invoices, and payments Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date financial records across systems Process vendor invoices and assist with accounts payable activities Support customer invoicing and accounts receivable tracking Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a regular basis Assist with data entry for general ledger and accounting systems Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure proper recordkeeping Support payroll data entry and coordination as needed Assist in preparing basic financial reports and summaries Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to the accounting team Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures Support audit readiness by maintaining accurate and accessible documentation Collaborate with the accounting team to support daily operations Perform other related duties and administrative tasks as assigned to support the finance and accounting function Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 1–3 years of bookkeeping, accounting support, or related experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Comfortable working with financial data and systems Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an MSP, IT services, or cybersecurity environment Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes Exposure to payroll support or financial reporting Experience maintaining documentation for audits or compliance purposes Pre\-employment Requirements: Employment is contingent upon completing a background check and a drug test. Skills testing may be required during the interview process. Lifting equipment weighing 25 lbs. may be required. Compensation is based on experience.
