Weld\-On Adhesives, an IPS Corporation subsidiary, is the industry leader in solvent cements, primers, and cleaners for PVC, CPVC, ABS, and other plastic piping systems. Weld\-On products are widely used across construction, industrial, water treatment, and landscape irrigation markets, with additional applications in the pool and spa industry. **About the Role:** Weld\-On is seeking a driven, relationship\-focused Business Development Representative to grow our presence in the Southern California landscape and irrigation market, with the pool and spa market as a secondary area of focus. This role will serve as both a sales driver and brand ambassador, working closely with irrigation contractors, landscape professionals, distributors, and retailers across the region. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), understands the SoCal contractor ecosystem, and is comfortable delivering hands\-on product demonstrations and training in the field. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** Market Development (Primary: Landscape \& Irrigation \| Secondary: Pool \& Spa) * Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Southern California landscape and irrigation contractor market * Support growth in the pool and spa segment through targeted distributor and contractor engagement * Build strong relationships across irrigation, landscape, and pool professionals * Focus on key SoCal territories including Los Angeles, Orange County, Inland Empire, and surrounding areas Contractor \& Distributor Engagement * Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors and distributor sales teams across irrigation and pool channels * Drive product adoption through jobsite visits, contractor outreach, and distributor collaboration * Support distributor growth through joint sales calls and account development Hands\-On Training \& Education * Deliver in\-field, hands\-on product training and demonstrations for contractors and distributor teams * Conduct bilingual (English/Spanish) training sessions when needed * Educate customers on proper application techniques, product advantages, and best practices across irrigation and pool applications Sales Execution \& Strategy * Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with regional growth targets * Drive product conversions through merchandising, demos, and training * Track opportunities, pipeline, and performance metrics Brand Representation * Represent Weld\-On at local trade shows, distributor events, and industry functions across Southern California, including both irrigation and pool industry events * Act as a brand ambassador in the contractor community Market Intelligence * Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and contractor needs across both irrigation and pool segments * Provide feedback to internal teams to support product and strategy development **Qualifications:** * 5–10\+ years of sales or field experience in landscape irrigation, plumbing, or contractor\-focused industries * Experience in the pool and spa industry is a plus (secondary focus) * Strong preference for candidates with direct contractor experience * Preferred: Fluent in English and Spanish * Comfortable delivering hands\-on product demonstrations and jobsite training * Practical understanding of irrigation systems, PVC piping, and installation practices * Preferred: Based in Central Los Angeles * Strong interpersonal and presentation skills * Self\-motivated and results\-driven * Willingness to travel throughout Southern California \- local travel 4 days a week with overnight travel, as needed * Valid driver’s license **What we Offer:** * Competitive base salary \+ performance\-based incentives * Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, retirement) * Ongoing training and professional development * Opportunity to grow within a market\-leading organization * A dynamic, field\-oriented role with strong impact on regional growth **How to Apply:** * Submit resume and cover letter outlining relevant Southern California irrigation or landscape experience.
