In this role, you will produce clear, informative articles approximately 500\-600 word based off a single interview with a business owner. **Duties** * Conduct web research to gather accurate information on a local assigned business and follow up with a phone interview. * Proofread and copy edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to AP style. * Collaborate with editors and team members to create an ongoing calender of business features. * Edit drafts for grammar, punctuation, style consistency, and overall readability * Applicant requires excellent scheduling and follow up skills as business owners are are often very busy and may require follow up **Skills** * Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and formats * Strong editing and proofreading abilities to ensure error\-free content * Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and business owners. * Proficiency in AP style. * Strong interviewing skills * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Join our team as a Business Writer and become an integral part of a dedicated organization committed to delivering stories that support local business.
