As demand for advanced vestibular and concussion education grows, AIB is expanding its educational footprint and strengthening its curriculum and faculty infrastructure to remain the industry leader. **Position Overview**
The Director of Curriculum \& Faculty Excellence leads the strategy, quality, and continuous improvement of AIB’s educational offerings, including hybrid certification workshops and online courses. This hands\-on leadership role ensures curricular integrity, instructional consistency, faculty performance, and regulatory compliance, while supporting scalable growth in a small, mission\-driven organization.
This is a hands\-on leadership role within a growing organization. The Director will contribute strategically to program development while also actively participating in workshop instruction and faculty development.

Building the nation’s best vestibular rehab and concussion education, led by expert faculty and hands\-on learning.
**Core Responsibilities**
**Curriculum Strategy \& Oversight**
* Lead the design, revision, and ongoing improvement of hybrid and online curriculum, ensuring all materials reflect current evidence\-based practice.
* Create and maintain certification examinations for the 2\-year credentialing cycle, including reviewing current literature and updating exam content with relevant journal articles every two years.
* Ensure alignment with accreditation standards and professional boards.
* Establish and maintain instructional frameworks, learning objectives, and competency outcomes.
* Monitor learner outcomes and integrate data\-driven improvements.
**Faculty Excellence \& Management**
* Recruit, onboard, and develop adjunct faculty to ensure high\-quality instruction.
* Implement performance evaluation, coaching, and mentorship programs.
* Maintain faculty consistency across workshops and online programs.
**Workshop Instruction \& Educational Delivery**
* **Serve as a primary instructor for AIB certification workshops and training programs.**
* Deliver high\-quality instruction to healthcare professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists, audiologists, physicians, and other healthcare rehab professionals.
* **Participate in workshop instruction and faculty support during in\-person training programs.**
* Travel to workshop locations nationally as needed to support educational delivery and faculty development.
* Oversee all workshop operations and manage adjunct faculty, even if not teaching a particular workshop.
**Quality Assurance \& Compliance**
* Ensure continuing education, CEU, and accreditation documentation meets standards.
* Maintain audit\-ready processes for certificates, learning records, and compliance.
**Operational Collaboration**
* Partner with leadership to align educational strategy with business objectives.
* Contribute to program growth, workshop planning, and operational efficiency.
* Monitor workshop sales and enrollment trends; collaborate with marketing on strategies, messaging, and promotional content to increase registrations; and support lead\-generation initiatives including conferences and trade shows.
* Work with IT and Graphics teams to update and enhance course materials.
**Success Metrics**
The Director will deliver measurable improvements in curriculum quality, faculty performance, and operational systems:
* **Course Excellence** – Ensure high learner satisfaction by refining evaluation tools, coaching faculty, and addressing feedback trends. Implement Net Promoter Score (NPS) tracking, targeting a 50\+ score in year 1 and 75\+ in year 2\.
* **Faculty Recruitment \& Continuity** – Continuously recruit, onboard, and train adjunct faculty to replace those leaving, maintain a strong core with 70–75% annual retention, ensure 100% workshop coverage with a fully prepared backup instructor for every workshop team, and expand the faculty pool over time so new instructors are continuously in training and fully independent instructors are available to lead workshops as needed.
* **Curriculum Leadership \& Compliance** – Conduct proactive program review, integrate emerging research, standardize delivery across formats, and maintain CEU/accreditation compliance.
* **Efficiency**: Achieve quarterly budget targets while maintaining or improving operational performance, including cost\-per\-workshop and faculty utilization rates.
* **Content Growth \& Revenue Impact:** Year 1 is maintenance. Beginning in Year 2, develop and launch new course content or workshop modules that generate **at least 15% incremental revenue** over existing offerings annually.

**Qualifications**
* Advanced degree (DPT, OTD, PhD, EdD, or equivalent).
* Experience in Vestibular Rehabilitation \& Concussion
* Background in healthcare or rehabilitation education environments.
* 5–7\+ years of experience in higher education, continuing education, or professional certification.
* Experience overseeing curriculum design, instructional quality, and adjunct faculty.
* Knowledge of accreditation and CE compliance processes.
* Willingness and ability to travel 25% for in\-person workshops, including Saturdays, lead workshops when coverage gaps occur, and represent the organization at trade shows.
**Preferred:**
* Experience in hybrid and online course development.
* Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital education strategy.
**Compensation \& Benefits**
* **Salary:** $85,000 \- $100,000 (based on experience)
* **Bonus:** Potential between $10,000 **\-** $25,000
