Editorial Intern — HVS Home Blog

About the role HVS Home is a premium home furnishings and décor brand built around versatile, design\-forward living. We're bringing on two editorial interns to support the growth of the HVS Home blog — Inside Our House — producing content that inspires, informs, and converts a design\-conscious audience. This is a hands\-on role inside a real editorial study space where you'll develop your writing, research, and visual communication skills alongside a working creative team. What you'll do * Research and draft blog posts across topics including interior design trends, styling tips, product spotlights, and home entertaining * Develop content briefs and editorial outlines in alignment with HVS Home's brand voice * Source and curate visual references and mood boards to accompany written content * Assist with SEO keyword research and on\-page optimization for each post * Collaborate on the editorial calendar — pitching ideas and meeting publish deadlines * Support social content adaptation of blog posts for Instagram and Threads What we're looking for * Currently enrolled in a college or university program (journalism, communications, interior design, marketing, or related field) * Genuine interest in interior design, home décor, and design\-forward lifestyle content * Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt to a brand voice — natural, confident, and editorial * Eye for aesthetics — you think about how copy and visuals work together * Self\-directed with the ability to manage your own time and meet deadlines * Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, Pinterest, or Canva is a plus * Your school must offer academic credit for internship experience What you'll gain * Real bylines and a portfolio of published editorial work * Hands\-on experience inside a growing premium e\-commerce brand * Mentorship from a creative director with experience in branding, editorial, and experiential design * Exposure to brand strategy, content marketing, and Shopify e\-commerce operations * Letter of recommendation upon successful completion Pay: $10\.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
