How you'll make an impact in this role:
* Architect and maintain a global fleet of 10,000\+ Windows Server instances (2016–2022\), ensuring 99\.99% availability through advanced configuration of DFS\-N/DFS\-R namespaces, NPS/RADIUS authentication, and enterprise\-wide GPO security hardening.
* Lead massive\-scale in\-place OS migrations and lifecycle refreshes, developing risk\-mitigation frameworks to execute zero\-downtime upgrades across mission\-critical production clusters.
* Direct technical oversight of Managed Service Providers (MSPs), serving as the Tier 3 escalation point and architectural authority to ensure vendor delivery aligns with internal SLAs and infrastructure standards.
* Manage a hybrid\-hypervisor estate across VMware vSphere and Hyper\-V, optimizing guest density, resource scheduling, and storage I/O performance for a high\-concurrency enterprise environment.
* Engineer automated workflows using PowerShell to standardize configuration management and auditing, replacing manual administration with scalable, code\-driven infrastructure processes.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:
Education:* High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need:
* Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands\-on experience with Terraform or Ansible for automating server provisioning and state enforcement.
* Advanced Monitoring: Expertise in building custom dashboards and alerting logic within Splunk, SCOM, or SolarWinds to proactively identify performance bottlenecks.
* Cloud Integration: Prior experience managing hybrid identities or workloads within Azure (Entra ID) or AWS EC2 environments.
