Executive Functioning Instructor & Content Tutor : Remote

**JOB SUMMARY:** As an Executive Functioning Instructor and/or Content Tutor, you will work 1:1 with students to help them identify and change the habits preventing their success in school and other aspects of their life. You will also support their positive growth as individuals. We are looking for someone whose beliefs line up with the philosophies and science of cognitive behavioral therapy who wants to work with neurodiverse students to learn more effective habits. We want to meet people who are deeply interested in and passionate about helping students alter their patterns of behavior to achieve success and reducing social stigma in the community. Our ideal candidate is someone interested in subjects such as social work, special education, substance abuse counseling or has done behavior intervention/CBT work. We will provide training to be an Executive Functioning Instructor. This is a part\-time position. Available hours are afternoon and evening on weekdays and 9am\-5pm on Sundays. **QUALIFICATIONS:** * Superior organizational skills * Must have a passion for learning * Prior experience with neurodiverse populations is a plus * Organizational skills required to schedule and manage a busy caseload of students * 1\+ years in educational or clinical setting working with youth 10 years and older is a plus * Available Sundays (9am\-5pm) and weekdays (2pm\-10pm) is preferred * Academic background with the ability to tutor one or more content areas is a plus. These subjects include but are not limited to: English, Critical Reading, Writing, History, a foreign language, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Statistics, Calculus, lower level math. **POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Support neurodivergent students by helping them define, pursue, and achieve their individual goals and give them tools to develop more effective ways to approach learning based on a better understanding of their own brain * Develop rapport with clients in middle school, high school, and college * Teach effective learning strategies, time management, planning, organization, prioritization, self\-advocacy, and habit formation **ABOUT GOALS:** At Goal Oriented Academics \& Learning Sciences (GOALS), our mission is to foster self\-sufficient learning through the application of individualized learning strategies and positive habit (re)formation.
