Base Salary is 90,000\-110,000 with first year earning attorneys earn 180,000 first year
**Position Summary**
Baron Family Law is seeking a Family Law Attorney to lead complex, family law matters across California. This role is responsible for managing divorce and custody litigation involving high\-net\-worth asset division, complex financial structures, contested custody matters, and privacy\-sensitive cases where discretion and strong litigation strategy are critical.
The Family Law Attorney will oversee matters from case strategy through trial, ensuring high\-quality legal work, strong client communication, and effective courtroom advocacy. This role requires an attorney who is comfortable managing complex litigation independently while collaborating with a high\-performing remote legal team.
Baron Family Law operates as a remote\-first firm, providing attorneys with autonomy and flexibility while maintaining strong systems, collaboration, and support. Attorneys may work remotely anywhere within California, with optional office workspace available in Beverly Hills/Los Angeles or Sacramento. Court appearances may be required depending on case location.

Performance Objectives
* Develop and execute litigation strategies for complex dissolution and custody matters involving high\-value marital estates.
* Manage Litigation End\-to\-End
* Oversee pleadings, discovery, motion practice, settlement conferences, evidentiary hearings, and trial preparation.
* Deliver High\-Quality Legal Writing
* Draft persuasive declarations, motions, pleadings, and briefs supported by well\-organized evidence.
* Ensure cases move forward efficiently through proactive planning, scheduling, and follow\-through.
* Advise clients with clarity, professionalism, and confidence in emotionally sensitive legal matters.
* Develop trial strategy, prepare exhibits, coordinate witness preparation, and support contested hearings.
* Work effectively with forensic accountants, valuation professionals, appraisers, and custody evaluators.
* Provide timely updates, set clear expectations, and maintain a high\-touch client experience.
* Maintain precision in legal filings, evidence organization, and court documentation.
* Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with paralegals and staff to strengthen litigation workflows.
* Contribute to improvements in templates, litigation workflows, and case management systems.
* Represent Baron Family Law with professionalism, discretion, and strong ethical standards.

**Education \& Expierence**
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
* Active California Bar license in good standing
* Minimum 2\-3 years of California family law litigation experience
* Trial experience required or substantial evidentiary hearing experience
* Experience handling high\-net\-worth divorce matters and complex asset division strongly preferred
* Experience with XSpouse / Family Law Software or similar legal case management platforms preferred
