**Freelance Video Editor (Automotive Advertising) – 1099 Contract**
**Company:** Paxton Marketing
**Location:** Remote (U.S. Preferred)
**Job Type:** Contract (1099\) – Per Project
**Overview**
Paxton Marketing is a fast\-growing automotive marketing agency specializing in high\-converting ad campaigns for dealerships nationwide. We are looking for a **mid to advanced\-level video editor** who understands **direct\-response advertising** and can produce content that drives leads and sales — not just “good\-looking videos.”
This is a **project\-based role** with consistent monthly volume for the right candidate.
**This is not a beginner role. Applicants must have experience editing paid advertising content that drives measurable results.**
**Responsibilities**
* Edit **short\-form social content** (Reels, Facebook, TikTok)
* Edit **long\-form OTT / streaming ads**
* Produce **YouTube pre\-roll and in\-stream ads**
* Deliver content in **portrait and landscape formats**
* Work from provided footage, scripts, and creative briefs
* Apply **direct\-response editing styles** (strong hooks, pacing, CTAs)
* Incorporate text overlays and light graphics (graphic design a plus)
**Requirements**
* Proficient in **Adobe Premiere Pro**
* Experience with **automotive advertising or dealership marketing preferred**
* Strong understanding of **Meta, YouTube, and OTT ad specifications**
* Ability to handle **multiple projects and fast turnaround times**
* Proven portfolio of **direct\-response or ad\-focused video work**
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow creative direction
**Compensation (Per Project)**
* **Short\-form videos (15–60 sec):** $75 – $150 per video
* **Long\-form ads (OTT / YouTube):** $250 – $600 per project
* Additional bonuses available for **high\-performing creatives**
*Rates based on experience, speed, and quality. Consistent monthly volume available for top performers.*
**Engagement Details**
* 1099 Independent Contractor
* Flexible workload based on active campaigns
