Job Description
**About us**
Ready for Love (www.readyforloveinc.com) helps people find meaningful relationships. We take that mission seriously, and it runs through everything we build. We are a collaborative, values\-driven team and we are growing our tech infrastructure to match our ambitions.
**About the project**
We are building out our GoHighLevel infrastructure in a serious way and need an expert who has done this before at a high level. This is not an entry\-level role. We want someone who has been in the weeds enough that not much surprises them anymore.
The work will be a mix of auditing and strengthening what we already have built and designing new automations as our needs grow. We are looking for an ongoing relationship, not a one\-off fix.
**What the work involves**
On the technical side, we need someone who has built complex funnels and workflows from scratch, understands pipeline automation deeply, and knows how to tie stage changes to tasks, notifications, and the broader system in a way that actually scales. Familiarity with the GHL API is important, and we want someone who knows when to reach for Make or Zapier when a native GHL integration is not going to cut it.
Just as important is the systems thinking side. We need someone who can sit with us, understand our business requirements, and design something clean and well\-structured before a single workflow is touched. Then build and test it against real\-world use cases with real rigor. And document it in layers so our technical people can maintain it, our admins can follow clear SOPs, and our end users always know exactly what to do.
**Required skills**
* Complex workflow architecture
* Pipeline automation and stage logic
* GHL API and webhook experience between multiple platforms
* Make and Zapier integrations
* Funnel and form automation
* Technical documentation and SOPs
**A note on coding**
We do not need a software engineer, but some comfort with code is important. There are times when custom coded actions inside workflows unlock better logic than what native tools can provide, and being able to write or adapt that code, with whatever help is needed, is a real asset. We also expect this person to be comfortable using the terminal and basic bash commands to test webhooks and API calls. If debugging an integration means opening a terminal and running a few commands, that should not be a stumbling block.
**To apply, please include**
* 2 or 3 examples of complex GHL systems you have built, with a brief description of what the business problem was and how you solved it
* A note on how you approach documentation and handoff
* Your hourly rate and general availability
**Please answer these 5 questions in your proposal**
* What is the difference between a custom value and a custom field in GHL, and when would you use each?
* How do you prevent a contact from being enrolled in the same workflow twice, and what are the tradeoffs of each approach?
* Describe a time a GHL automation broke in production. What caused it and how did you fix it?
* How do you test a complex workflow before it goes live with real contacts?
Generic submissions will not be considered. If you have done this kind of work and love it, we would love to hear from you.
