Government Contracts & Procurement Specialist (Experienced Only)

We are looking for a highly experienced Government Contracts \& Procurement Specialist who understands how to identify, pursue, and help secure government contract opportunities for multiple established service companies. This is NOT an entry\-level role. We are NOT looking for someone who wants to “learn government contracts.” We are looking for someone who already understands the process and can execute independently. Our companies provide a wide range of services throughout NYC and surrounding areas, including: * Building services * Odor control management * Maintenance services * Environmental and facility\-related services * Dryer vent cleaning * Appliance services * Commercial property solutions * Hospitality and high\-rise building services The right candidate must already have experience with: * SAM.gov * NYC and NY State procurement systems * BidNet * Government RFP/RFQ submissions * Vendor registrations * Proposal preparation * Compliance requirements * Contract opportunity research * Public sector procurement procedures Responsibilities: * Research and identify relevant city, state, federal, and public\-sector contract opportunities * Handle registrations and vendor setup where needed * Prepare and coordinate bid submissions * Work directly with ownership to position company services correctly * Manage timelines, requirements, and documentation * Help pursue and secure long\-term government and public\-sector contracts Requirements: * Proven experience in government procurement or contract acquisition * Ability to work independently * Strong organizational and communication skills * Experience with proposal writing and bid submissions * Must understand how to navigate procurement systems without training This position can be structured as: * Salary * Commission * Hybrid compensation * Performance\-based arrangement If you have REAL experience in this field and know how to execute, we would like to speak with you.
