Graphic Design Intern

**SUMMARY** The Graphic Design Intern will assist in developing visual content for marketing, and production\-related initiatives. This role provides hands\-on experience in a fast\-paced creative environment, working on diverse digital and print projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong design skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. This is a **part\-time position, up to 25 hours per week,** with daytime availability required. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.** Other duties may be assigned as needed. **1\. Graphic Design Support** * Assist in creating marketing materials, including social media graphics, digital ads, brochures, presentations, and website assets. * Ensure consistency across all design projects by adhering to brand guidelines. * Develop and refine layouts, typography, and visual elements to align with project objectives. **2\. Collaboration \& Coordination** * Work closely with the Creative Director and marketing team to execute design projects. * Provide creative input while maintaining brand integrity. * Revise designs based on feedback and ensure timely project completion. **3\. Production Assistance** * Prepare files for both digital and print production, ensuring correct formatting and specifications. * Support and maintain updates for websites, brochures, and media kits, incorporating necessary design elements and content layout. **4\. Software \& Tools** * Utilize **Adobe Creative Cloud** (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), **Canva**, and other design software. * Work with content management systems (WordPress, Elementor Editor) for website updates. * Familiarity with **generative AI tools** (ChatGPT, MidJourney, Adobe Firefly) is a plus. **5\. Time Management \& Organization** * Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. * Keep design files organized and maintain clear documentation of project progress. * Leverage automation platforms and AI tools to improve workflow efficiency. **QUALIFICATIONS** * Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva. * Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout. * Ability to work independently while taking direction effectively. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Basic knowledge of web design, UI/UX principles, and Figma is a plus. **LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES** * Gain hands\-on experience in a creative and professional environment. * Build a diverse portfolio with real\-world design projects. * Develop technical skills in both digital and print design. * Learn about branding, marketing, and production workflows.
