Together, we offer healthcare organizations a single, integrated partner to de\-risk complex projects, ensure compliance and operational readiness, and deliver lasting value at every stage of the project lifecycle. **Job Description** ------------------- The Healthcare BIM Planner will assist Project Managers and Senior staff with completion of engagements services. As part of our engagement services for ADAMS clients, they will manage and generate medical equipment placement drawings using REVIT. The Healthcare BIM Planner is responsible for delivery of these services, ensuring client satisfaction and making sure the drawings are complete and accurate. The BIM Planner has responsibility to ensure that assigned engagements and assigned tasks adhere to processes and policies as defined in the ADAMS Standards of Practice Manual. **Core Responsibilities** ------------------------- ### **Work Product Creation, Project Management, Coordination with Team Members** * Responsible for supporting assigned manager in meeting or exceeding the defined annual budget for the entire practice area (including proactive creation of work product to meet or exceed defined utilization targets, oversight of execution of profitable technical assignments, and communication with clients as assigned or requested) * Effectively coordinate with other team members as requested or assigned, able to provide technical work product review, and monitor own progress on assigned tasks or projects, and ensure work product produced by self is consistently high quality * Support assigned manager in monitoring of all relevant data related to own performance such as individual utilization rate vs target, client deadlines, accurate and timely timesheet data, etc. * Travel, as necessary to support client, employee, and leadership needs. * Provide feedback to project team leader in a manner that assists with rapid identification and escalation of any client, or technical or operational challenges * Reviews business processes and recommends specific process improvements, including developing and maintaining best practice guidelines. * Successfully mentors and supervises team members in the development of their careers. ### **Operations** * Manage and generate medical equipment placement drawings using REVIT. * Build REVIT families for medical equipment and systems, while utilizing our proprietary planning software and referencing manufacturer specifications. * Run medical equipment BIM kickoff and client meetings without the help of the BIM manager. * Incorporate and coordinate updates from review of equipment lists, manufacturer documents and redlined drawings. * Convert, upload and download files for distribution to internal team, design and construction teams and vendors. * Successfully, and professionally, interact with architects, engineers, equipment manufacturers, contractors as well as client users and administrators. * Be aware of and perform own tasks in a manner that supports the organization’s vision and defined business objectives. * Conduct self and prioritize tasks to work toward achievement of defined profit objectives of assigned projects. * Other duties as assigned **Qualifications \& Competencies** ---------------------------------- * Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience, a Master's degree and 6 years of related experience, or 11 years of related experience and no degree. * Experience in producing graphically correct drawings for healthcare projects using REVIT. * Proven track record of independent work product production, communication, and coordination with clients and assigned Supervisor * Demonstrated knowledge of technical areas ### **Knowledge \& Skills** * Expert knowledge of REVIT in a related field (knowledge of setting up models from scratch, able to build and update parametric families) and expert knowledge of medical equipment and layouts with an understanding of complex design and construction terminology. * Demonstrates excellent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (especially Word, Teams, OneNote and Excel), as well as Bluebeam and AutoCAD . * Knowledge of Revit add\-ons. * Ability to manage projects with multiple stakeholders. * Ability to demonstrate independence, initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasking. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, consultative skills and conflict resolutions abilities. * Track record of being dependable, self\-motivated, and having a desire to learn. * Excellent time management and organizational skills **Additional Information** -------------------------- At VERTEX, we invest in top talent with a highly competitive total compensation package that rewards performance and supports long\-term success. A new hire’s starting compensation is determined by their experience, geographical location, scope of the role at the time of hire, and Company affordability. The salary ranges for this role are as follows: $86,000 \- $208,000 USD annually (Geographical Tier AA \- Sample Locations: NY Metro, San Franscisco, San Jose, Seattle) $79,000 \- $192,000 USD annually (Geographical Tier A \- Sample Locations: Irvine CA, Middlesex NJ, Tacoma WA, Boston, Alexandria) $73,000 \- $176,000 USD annually (Geographical Tier B \- Sample Locations \- Baltimore, Chicago, Anchorage, Portland) $66,000 \- $160,000 USD annually (Geographical Tier C \- Sample Locations \- Atlanta, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Miami) $63,000 \- $152,000 USD annually (Geographical Tier D \- Sample Locations \- Mississippi, Mobile AL, Bowling Green KY, Tulsa) Time away matters—so we provide a generous paid time off program, including vacation, sick time, and paid holidays (with prorated options for eligible part\-time employees).
