Job Description
**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer\-oriented **Journeyman** **Field Office Technician** to join our CASTLE\-NET Program team. ***This is a remote position***.
Be a part of an agile team to provide the U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) OCIO/G\-6 with agile, innovative, customer focused, and cost\-effective integrated enterprise IT support services in support of the USACE vision of engineering solutions for the Nation’s toughest challenges.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
* Providing on\-site technical support and assistance by deploying to CASTLE\-NET program field offices for IT infrastructure and end\-user device wellness checks.
* Conducting network performance evaluations, checking conference room equipment, and supporting end\-user devices to ensure compliance with USACE IT policies.
* Assisting with IT equipment disposal training and supporting onsite personnel with IT issue ticketing and documentation.
* Delivering world\-class IT services and responsive, dependable customer support to exceed the expectations of USACE IT end\-users.
* Delivering vital solutions and strengthening the IT foundation with secure, innovative, and modernized technological solutions.
* Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all mission requirements
**Minimum Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; or an Associate degree with 2\+ years of relevant experience; or 4\+ years of relevant experience.
* Possess 4\+ years of experience in IT and/or field/user support roles with progressively responsible experience.
* Excellent technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, and experience with IT equipment setup and maintenance.
* Proficiency in remote support tools and ticketing systems with a willingness to travel extensively for field missions.
* Ability to maintain an 8140 IAT Level II certification and remain current with industry trends in network engineering and data security.
* Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating technical documentation for complex information technology systems.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A\+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator.
* Familiarity with the USACE IT environment, regulatory requirements, and primary compliance automation tools.
**Clearance Requirements:**
* Must possess a Secret security clearance prior to starting this position.
**Physical Requirements:**
* The person in this position must be able to travel 75% of the time.
