Junior Java Developer (Contract)

The ideal candidate is passionate about coding, eager to learn, and ready to take on new challenges in a fast\-paced setting. **Duties** * Assist in developing, testing, and deploying Java applications following best practices and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards * Collaborate with front\-end developers to integrate UI components built with React, Angular, or other frameworks using JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML/CSS * Contribute to the design and implementation of RESTful APIs and web services utilizing WCF, SOAP, or other protocols * Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and unit testing to ensure robust application performance * Support database design and management using SQL, T\-SQL, PL/SQL for databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB * Work within Agile teams utilizing tools like TFS, GitHub, SVN, or Git for version control and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with Azure or other cloud platforms * Assist in developing microservices architecture leveraging Java Spring Boot or Node.js for scalable application deployment **Requirements** * Proven experience in software development with a focus on Java programming language and object\-oriented programming (OOP) principles * Familiarity with front\-end development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js along with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript * Knowledge of web development technologies including RESTful APIs, XML, JSON, AJAX, XSLT, and web services integration * Experience working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Microsoft SQL Server; including database design and query optimization * Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum and familiarity with SDLC processes * Proficiency using IDEs like Eclipse or Visual Studio for application development and debugging * Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus * Ability to write clean code with strong debugging skills; experience with unit testing frameworks is desirable * Knowledge of version control systems including Git or SVN; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is advantageous * Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies Join us as a Junior Java Developer (Contract) and become part of a forward\-thinking team dedicated to building innovative solutions that make a difference!
