Job Description

We are seeking a **Marketing Automation Specialist** with deep, hands\-on experience in Salesforce Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement). This role is focused on building, optimizing, and managing automated marketing programs. This is not a generalist position. You should be comfortable writing HML logic, troubleshooting integrations, and collaborating on campaign assets—all within the same day. You will work closely with marketing, sales, and creative teams to turn strategy into scalable, measurable campaigns. **Responsibilities** * Build, manage, and optimize marketing automation campaigns in Salesforce Pardot (MCAE), including drip sequences, lead nurturing, segmentation, and dynamic content * Develop and customize HTML/CSS email templates, landing pages, and branded campaign assets * Write and maintain advanced Handlebars Merge Language (HML) for dynamic personalization * Implement and maintain integrations between Pardot, Salesforce CRM, and third\-party platforms using APIs, JSON, Zapier, and Make.com * Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align automation workflows with funnel stages, lead routing, and business objectives * Monitor campaign performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimize through testing and data analysis * Support CRM data hygiene, lead management, and campaign reporting **Required Qualifications:** * Hands\-on experience with Salesforce Pardot/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement * Proven experience building and managing automation workflows, drip campaigns, and customer journeys * Proficiency in HTML and CSS for email and landing page customization * Experience with Zapier, Make.com, or similar automation platforms * Familiarity with APIs and JSON in a marketing or automation context * Strong written communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non\-technical teams * Portfolio demonstrating relevant automation, campaign, or design work (required) **Preferred Qualifications:** * Salesforce CRM experience or certifications * Experience with HubSpot or other marketing automation platforms * Background in visual design or marketing content production * Understanding of lead scoring, attribution models, and funnel analytics * Project management experience in a fast\-paced agency or multi\-client environment **Position Type**: Full\-time employee position **Benefits**: 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance; paid time off **Work Arrangement**: This is a remote position.
