This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while honing your teaching skills in a dynamic educational environment. **Responsibilities** * Develop customized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and learning styles, covering topics such as differential equations, organic chemistry, microbiology, genetics, and mechanical engineering principles. * Use innovative learning technologies to enhance understanding and engagement during tutoring sessions. * Provide clear explanations of complex mathematical concepts like data structures, discrete math, and higher education mathematics to students at various levels. * Foster a positive learning environment by managing classroom dynamics effectively and encouraging active participation. * Assess student progress regularly through formative assessments and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. * Support students working with children or in special education settings by applying appropriate pedagogical approaches. * Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and lesson plans to ensure continuous improvement. **Requirements** * Proven experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics at various levels, including early childhood education, preschool, or higher education settings. * Strong knowledge of math disciplines such as algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, statistics, differential equations, and discrete math. * Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning techniques for diverse learner populations. * Proficiency with learning technology tools and computer skills necessary for virtual or hybrid tutoring environments. * Ability to work effectively with children, students with special needs, or adult learners across different educational backgrounds. * Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics or related sciences is a plus for interdisciplinary tutoring roles. * Excellent communication skills combined with classroom management abilities to create an engaging and supportive learning space. * Experience working with students in classroom or one\-on\-one settings is highly desirable.
