Job Description

**Summary** Prepare loan submissions received from Loan Officers for Underwriting. Submit, track, and follow up on all documentation required to close loans. \*\*Must be able to work Pacific standard time hours, and be located in PST, MST or CST time Zones.\*\* **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** * Multi\-tasking, accuracy and problem solving are the most important items for success in this role * Point of contact for Loan Officer, borrower and agents * Complete new loan checklist, update encompass file with new PSA information, trigger disclosures and sent loan submission to setup team with contract * Review current file documentation and request pending items needed for loan approval and follow up promptly * Review under contract meeting notes and updated file structure accordingly * Submit all eligible files through DU/LP/GUS for automated approval prior to submitting to APMC or other lending institution * Save rates for unlocked files daily and monitor pricing to get into target. Once target has been reached confirm lock details with LO and lock the file accordingly * Process order outs based on loan requirements via AUS and guidelines * Obtain and review needed documentation for final approval. Follow up and work with Loan Officer/Borrower through funding on any items needed to close loans * Order closing disclosure and final loan documents * Ensure final loan documents are received by escrow and borrower signing appointment is scheduled promptly for closing date * Review and approve final settlement statement and confirm cash to close figures are accurate * Review and send out all communication guarantee emails via templates and top of mind videos to borrowers and agents through closing * Conduct weekly pipeline review meetings with Loan Officers * Maintain current posted turn times and customer service levels * Update client status (pipeline manager) with accurate milestone details and files notes * Monitor timelines to confirm files are progressing with on time closing. If file falls behind, able to create a game plan to get things back on track * Develop and maintain current procedures for all functions within the Loan Processor position. * Consistent Communication – complete client milestone emails and follow up phone calls, Friday updates sent out before noon, Tuesday updates sent out before noon, respond to clients / partners within one hour * Additional projects as assigned **Skills:** * 7\-10 years of processing experience preferred. * Strong knowledge of multiple loan programs including FHA\|VA, Conventional, USDA, DU/LP, Jumbo and Non\-QM preferred * Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required: ability to work with diverse base of contacts (Loan Officers, clients, agents, lenders, title companies, etc.) * Detail\-oriented individual with strong organizational and multitasking skills * Computer skills required include MSWord, Excel, Outlook (e\-mail) and Encompass * Strong mathematical aptitude, ability to calculate income via W\-2/Tax Returns * Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines on a consistent basis.
