Swami Compounding is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and maintaining customer relationships, sales/marketing, negotiating contracts, and managing projects. This is a great opportunity for an experienced candidate with background in selling polymers/compounds to the Rubber/Plastic industry **Open Position:** Outside Sales representative **Company Description:** Swami Compounding is a custom rubber compounder started with an aim to provide quality rubber compounds for various applications such as Tire Retreads, Conveyor belts, Floor Mats, Roofing, Wire \& Cable, Hoses, Construction, Automotive etc. Our current mixing capacity is 60 Million lb. with one fully automated mixing line with 250\-liter Banbary mixer. We currently mix NR, SBR, EPDM, IR, IIR, BR, NBR, CR polymers. **Job Type:** Full Time Swami Compounding has a great opportunity for an experienced candidate with background in selling polymers/compounds to the Rubber/Plastic industry **Location:** Anywhere in the US (Preferably located in Southern part of the US) **Essential Job Functions:** · Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers, planning and organizing sales call or in person meeting with the customer. · Meet and exceed annual Sales budget, Revenue, Contribution Margin in accordance with the company’s annual sales goal. · Support customers in formulating new compounds, help troubleshoot by coordinating with plant chemist. · Prepare quotations, review/update prices periodically to the customers. Follow up, negotiate terms, and close transactions. · Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as call/visit report, weekly work plans, and monthly/Quarterly and annual territory analysis. · Manage sales pipeline to drive new business opportunities to commercial success. · 80 % Domestic Travelling required to the customers plant. **Required Skills, Experience and Education:** · Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales in Rubber/Plastic Industry. · Bachelor degree in chemistry, Business or engineering. Relevant experience in the Rubber or Plastic industry will be considered in lieu of degree · Proven experience and success in developing new business, building repeat business, and managing sales territory. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. · Interpersonal skills necessary in order to negotiate, sell, and close business with customers. · Strong cold calling, networking, and appointment\-setting skills. · 80% \+ travelling required. **Compensation:** $110,000 **Benefits:** Health insurance, 401 K, Dental, Vision, Paid time off, Professional development opportunities If you are a results\-driven individual with a passion for customer relationship management, Sales, negotiation, project management, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
