Project Manager

It is a fast\-paced small business environment that is very rewarding for someone who is self\-motivated and is good at multi\-tasking. **Purpose/Summary (Why the position exists, within what limits and with what objectives):** Support the successful execution of projects within SVI Dynamics **Size:** Financial responsibility of position (USD) * Projects or part of projects up to 5 million USD per project * Average of 10\-15 million USD per FY * 15 to 25 projects per year **Qualification, Experience, Skills, and Knowledge required:** **Education:** Mechanical/ Industrial 4 years engineering degree **(MUST have)** **Experience:** 8\-10 years of experience in dealing with project management in Oil \& Gas, Power sector. Must have executed projects in these sectors from start to finish. **Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:** * Preference for candidates with PMP certification * Good understanding project management basics (scope, schedule management, procurement activities, fabrication management experience, handle vendor / fabricators for contracts fabrication, change request / change order management, shipment of equipment to site, knowledge of freight terms, site execution management). * Must be able to read fabrication drawings to under product design / functionality. * Very strong administrative / PC skills (MS Office, teams, outlook) * Strong negotiation, organizational and communication skills * Strong ethical values, self\-starter; and sense of responsibility. **Internal Collaborations** * Coordinate with sales team to take new projects; understand project scope, budgets. * Reports to Sr. Project Manager * Coordination with site supervisor for installation of equipment for turnkey projects. * Coordinate with Engineering Team during engineering phase of project, procurement and site clarifications. * Work with Quality Team to generate fabrication test plans, schedule inspections, get quality release before shipping. * Coordinate with quality team for site walk down and acceptance of work. **External Collaborations** * Extensive coordination with the fabricator for fabricator of equipment. * Coordinate with material supply companies * Close coordination with Customers during project execution. **Principal Accountabilities – Key Responsibilities:** * Support the successful execution of projects within the SVI Dynamics division. * Work closely with the Sr. Project manager, Sub\-contractors/Vendors, Engineering team, Site team, Quality team, Sales team, and other Internal departments to ensure in\-time, in budget, in quality delivery of all project components. * Analyze in detail, the customer technical and commercial specifications, country specific rules and regulations and international standards and translate these specifications into accurate instructions towards suppliers and subcontractors. * Act as the main contact for project customer, suppliers and subcontractors. * Handle the administrative part of the job related to generating professional project documentation, handling supplier quotations, project planning, budget follow\-up, project presentations, inventory management, etc. * Ensure supplier obligations and internal project activities are managed in\-time / in\-budget / in\-quality. * Provide consistent, accurate \& complete updates to Senior Project Manager on project activities and specifically on procurement and contract management activities. * Work independently on small projects, project claims, site requests, and the assigned project scope. * Handle customer inspections in the SVI Dynamics subcontractor workshop.
