As a Retirement Benefits Services Specialist, you'll be the key contact for clients, managing annuity contracts and ensuring all processes are handled efficiently. **WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:**
* Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications)
+ Retirement Benefit Specialist:$25\-$26/hr, plus annual bonus opportunity.
+ Senior Retirement Benefit Specialist:$29\-$30/hr plus annual bonus opportunity.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO:**
* Serve as the primary contact for internal and external client communications related to assigned annuity contracts across multiple product lines, ensuring timely and accurate management.
* Analyze, research, and resolve issues in annuity administration, including setup, lump sum payments, death processing, overpayment recovery, and compliance concerns.
* Interpret and apply annuity certificate provisions for early retirement, disability, and death benefits, working with underwriting and compliance teams to address complex issues.
* Manage updates to the Comprehensive Pension Administration System (COMPAS) and related systems to meet client expectations, including processing initial checks and updating financial information.
* Research and set up federal and state income tax reporting information to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
**WHAT YOU’LL BRING:**
* Proven customer service experience including phone queue skills, with excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and problem\-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast\-paced environment, meet stringent deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong expertise in the insurance industry.
* High attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to demonstrate creativity, diplomacy, and initiative in decision\-making.

* Able to work remotely with access to a high\-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
**PREFERRED:**
* Previous annuity experience, and understanding of federal, state, and business regulations impacting annuity administration.
