**\*\*\*US based remote role with a preferred candidate in Eastern time zone\*\*\***
**About the Team**
The Hilton Worldwide Sales (HWS) Salesforce organization is the central platform supporting Hilton’s above‑property sales activities across its global portfolio across Group, Transient, and B2B sales segments. Built on Salesforce Sales Cloud and leveraging the Amadeus package infrastructure, HWS provides a connected opportunity model that enables collaborative engagement and deal closure with on‑property colleagues. In addition, HWS utilizes a broad set of installed packages and custom objects to support account roster management, sales governance, pricing operations, event hosting, and end‑to‑end commercial workflows. The team is currently undertaking a major development initiative to modernize account coverage, roster governance, and sales operations, helping ensure Hilton’s continued leadership and growth in the commercial space.
This role will work remotely and will collaborate with team members mostly based in US Eastern and some in international time zones like GMT/BST. Eastern and Central time zones are preferred, but other time zones with considerable overlap in working hours may be acceptable.
**Job Summary:**
Opportunity to apply your Salesforce development expertise on a high\-impact project that will reshape how Hilton Worldwide Sales manages account rosters, ownership governance, and sales operations across a complex global account hierarchy. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom Salesforce solutions—primarily Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, and Flows—within a large\-scale enterprise environment. Working alongside a Solution Architect, Senior Salesforce Admins, and Salesforce Product Owners, you will build new functionality that gives sales leaders hierarchy\-wide visibility into account coverage, enforces business rules that govern ownership, automates high\-volume opportunity reassignments, and delivers configurable notification and approval workflows. This is hands\-on development work with real architectural complexity; the right candidate will bring strong technical depth and a genuine comfort level working across both declarative and programmatic Salesforce tooling.
**Responsibilities:**
* Design, develop, and deploy Lightning Web Components (LWC) including a hierarchy\-wide "Roster Explorer" component utilizing Salesforce GraphQL Wire Adapters and tree grid patterns to surface team member assignments across complex account hierarchies
* Develop and optimize Apex classes including Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Schedulable Apex, and Triggers to support high\-volume automations such as roster start\-date activations, opportunity owner reassignment, and account status/segment realignment
* Write bulkified SOQL queries to traverse parent\-child account hierarchies, aggregate data across multiple related objects, and support governance rule validation
* Build and extend Salesforce Flows including Screen Flows, Record\-Triggered Flows, and Approval Orchestrations to support guided intake for data modification requests, change notifications, and approval routing
* Implement a flexible, admin\-maintainable governance rules engine using Custom Metadata Types to enforce roster uniqueness and non\-overlap across Ultimate Parent Account, Office, Area, and Country/Area combinations
* Collaborate with the Solution Architect on data model enhancements, LWC architecture decisions, and scalability patterns for features that must handle volume spikes
* Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint demos, and retrospectives as part of a co\-managed delivery model
* Troubleshoot and resolve defects, optimize performance against Salesforce governor limits, and ensure all custom code meets minimum test coverage requirements
**Skills:**
* Effective communication and collaboration skills; ability to articulate technical approaches to non\-technical stakeholders
* Strong command of Lightning Web Components including lifecycle hooks, GraphQL wire adapters, event communication patterns, and integration with standard Lightning components such as lightning\-tree\-grid and lightning\-datatable
* Deep proficiency in Apex development with specific experience writing Batch, Queueable, Schedulable, and Trigger\-based solutions that are bulkified and governor\-limit aware
* Ability to write complex SOQL queries including aggregate queries, sub\-queries, and relationship queries across custom object hierarchies
* Experience building and maintaining complex Flows including Screen Flows with dynamic branching, Record\-Triggered Flows, and Scheduled\-Triggered Flows
* Solid understanding of Salesforce Custom Metadata Types and Custom Settings for maintainable configurable code
* Familiarity with Salesforce security model including permission sets, sharing rules, and field\-level security as they apply to custom development
* Experience working in enterprise\-scale Salesforce orgs with large data volumes and complex object models
* Strong problem\-solving ability with attention to detail and a focus on writing clean, maintainable code
**Required Experience:**
* 5\+ years of experience in Salesforce Development with a strong emphasis on programmatic solutions
* Salesforce Certified Platform Developer
* Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator
* Demonstrated experience developing Lightning Web Components for production use, including use of wire adapters and imperative Apex calls
* Hands\-on experience developing Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Trigger frameworks in orgs with complex data models
* Experience writing SOQL queries that support multi\-object traversal and large\-dataset operations
* Proven ability to build and extend Salesforce Flows including screen flows with guided user experiences and record\-triggered automations
* Experience working with Custom Metadata Types to drive configurable application behavior
* Experience participating in Agile development teams using sprint\-based delivery
* Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation
**Preferred Experience:**
* Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
* Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer
* Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
* Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
* Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist
* Experience utilizing Salesforce GraphQL Wire Adapters in LWC for efficient data retrieval
* Experience developing solutions on Salesforce Experience Cloud
* Experience working with managed packages and AppExchange tools
* Experience with Salesforce DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines (Copado, GitLab, or similar)
* Familiarity with Salesforce approval processes and notification frameworks
This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a major platform initiative that will directly impact how Hilton's global sales organization governs and manages its account portfolio. Starting as a 12\-month contract aligned to a defined project delivery timeline, this role provides the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States while building solutions that solve real operational challenges at enterprise scale.
