Job Description

**Residential AV Project Coordinator (Remote)** There is a moment in the growth of every AV company where the owner stops being the bottleneck on the work itself, and starts being the bottleneck on everything else. The orders, the schedules, the vendor calls, the client updates, the parts chasing, the architect coordination, the hundred small things that happen between a closed sale and a finished project. I am at that moment now, and I am looking for the right person to join our team and take over that operational engine, so that we can keep doing the work we love at the level our clients expect. This is a remote position, and it is one of the most important hires we will make this year. **About Perfect Angle** Perfect Angle Audio Visual Solutions is a high\-end residential AV integration company based on Long Island. We design and install custom audio, video, lighting control, motorized shades, and networking systems for clients in the Hamptons, Long Island, and Manhattan. We are a Control4, Lutron, Anthem, and Paradigm shop at our core, with deep experience across the full custom integration stack. Our average project size is 35 thousand or more, and our largest client last year spent over 300 thousand with us in a single year. With the right systems and the right team in place, we could be handling a million dollar project at our current field level. That is where we are headed, and the person who steps into this seat will be a real part of getting us there. **About the team** We are a small, close, dedicated group. Joe runs our projects in the field, and there is not a job site he cannot bring home. Matej is our in\-house carpenter and lead AV tech, the kind of craftsman who builds custom faux walls to hide structured wiring panels and then jokes around with the homeowner while doing it. Justin is the youngest member of our crew, sharp and coachable, and getting better every single week. Nathalia handles our administration and marketing, and her sister Leticia keeps our accounting clean. We work with a programmer, an architect, and a backyard masonry team that lets us deliver full\-service installations from the network rack out to the landscape lighting. We also work with a business coach every week, who keeps us focused, accountable, and growing. We track our numbers, we hold each other to them, and we celebrate the wins when they come. We are the kind of people who smile while pulling wire through a wall. We label every cable. Every single one. We take before and after photos on every job. We geek out so our clients do not have to. We care a lot about the craft, and we care just as much about each other. This is the team you would be joining. **What the role is about** Imagine being the person who sits in the middle of everything we do, watching the projects move, knowing what each crew needs before they need it, talking to the architects and lighting reps and general contractors, posting daily updates to clients on their custom portal, and keeping the data clean so we can make sharp decisions every week. That is the role. This person owns the operational engine of the company. The jobs in flight, the parts on order, the vendor conversations, the schedules, the KPI tracking, and the client portal we built but have not yet had the time to fully run. The systems are already there. What we need is one experienced operator to step in and run them properly, alongside us, as part of the team. There is a lot of trust in this seat. Whoever takes it will have visibility into how we run our company and a real voice in how we grow it. That is also why we are looking for a particular kind of person. **Who we are looking for** We are looking for a seasoned residential AV operations person. Someone who has been in this industry long enough to know what a real high\-end install looks like, who has seen what bad coordination does to a job, and who has been waiting for the right seat at the right company to actually use everything they have learned. The right candidate will likely have ten or more years of experience in residential AV in some operational, coordination, or project management capacity. They have lived inside D\-Tools or a similar system. They know Control4 and Lutron as products, not as buzzwords. They have been on the phone with high\-end clients before, and they know how to set expectations and meet them. They have spotted the missing fiber run before the crew rolled out, and they have chased an architect for a door schedule more times than they can count. We are open to candidates anywhere in the Eastern or Central US time zones. Our crew loads vans at 7am Eastern, and our day starts when theirs does. Beyond the skill set, we care about who you are as a person. We are a small team and we spend a lot of time talking to each other, helping each other, and pushing each other to be better at what we do. The right fit is someone who wants to be a part of that, not someone who wants to clock in and stay on an island. We have built a real culture here, and we are looking to grow it with the right person, not dilute it with the wrong one. **What we can offer** A company that takes residential integration seriously. A team that treats each other like family. A business owner who is committed to growing this company the right way, with a coach, a real plan, and a track record that backs it up. A client base in some of the most beautiful homes on the East Coast. And a real path to grow with us, with a compensation structure that reflects the trust and responsibility of the seat. We will share the specifics on compensation once we have had a chance to talk. We have a real budget for the right person, and we are open to discussing what works for both sides. How to apply If this sounds like the seat you have been looking for, send a résumé and one short paragraph, three to five sentences, answering this question: **What is one operational bottleneck you saw at a previous AV company, and how would you have fixed it if you owned the outcome?** That paragraph tells us more than the résumé does. It tells us how you think, what you have seen, and whether you would actually enjoy this seat. Applications without the paragraph will not be reviewed, so please do not skip it. We will read every paragraph that comes in, and we will reach out to the people we want to talk to. We are excited to find the right person, and we are looking forward to hearing from you. — Anthony Breese, Perfect Angle Audio Visual Solutions Pay: From $50,000\.00 per year Application Question(s): * Do you have at least 10 years of professional experience in residential AV integration (installer, coordinator, project manager, or operations)? * This job requires you to be in the eastern or central time zone. Which US time zone do you currently live in? * Are you able to be online and reachable by 7:00 AM Eastern Time on weekdays? * If selected, when would you be able to start a two\-week paid trial? * In your own words, what is the one operational bottleneck you would tackle first in this role, and why? * Which of the following systems have you used in a professional capacity? (Select all that apply) Options: D\-Tools (any version) / Control4 / Lutron / Anthem / Paradigm / Sonos / Eero or Ubiquiti / Company Cam / None of the above Work Location: Remote
