**The Role**
We’re looking for a highly strategic and execution\-oriented SEO Growth Lead who understands how to build sustainable organic growth in competitive markets.
This is not a “publish blogs and track rankings” SEO role.
We want someone who understands how modern search works—from technical SEO and site architecture to search intent, programmatic SEO, internal linking systems, AI\-assisted workflows, and conversion\-focused content strategy.
You should be someone who can think independently, identify opportunities others miss, and execute at a high level without needing heavy oversight.
As SEO Growth Lead, you’ll work closely with leadership, product, engineering, and marketing to help shape how Atom grows organically across both traditional search engines and emerging AI\-driven discovery platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience helping smaller or mid\-sized companies outperform larger competitors through strategic SEO execution.
**What You’ll Do**
* Own and execute Atom’s SEO and organic growth strategy
* Identify scalable opportunities to increase qualified organic traffic
* Improve technical SEO across a large\-scale marketplace environment
* Build and optimize landing page, content, and internal linking strategies
* Develop systems for scalable SEO growth, including AI\-assisted workflows and automation
* Conduct deep competitor analysis and identify strategic gaps
* Improve search visibility across traditional search and AI\-driven search experiences
* Work closely with engineering and product teams on technical SEO initiatives
* Monitor performance, identify growth opportunities, and drive experimentation
* Focus on business impact and conversions—not vanity metrics alone
**What We’re Looking For**
* 5\+ years of hands\-on SEO experience with measurable growth results
* Proven experience growing organic traffic in competitive industries
* Strong understanding of technical SEO, indexing, crawl optimization, site architecture, and internal linking
* Experience with content strategy and search intent optimization
* Strong understanding of modern SEO tools, workflows, and AI\-assisted systems
* High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently
* Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills
* Clear communication skills and ability to explain strategy effectively
* Comfortable working in a fast\-paced, startup\-style environment
* Interest in startups, branding, marketplaces, AI, or technology
**Bonus**
* Experience with marketplace or programmatic SEO
* Experience competing against large incumbents with lean resources
* Familiarity with AI search optimization / LLM visibility
* Experience scaling SEO in high\-growth startup environments
* Experience improving conversion rates from organic traffic
