Smart Contract Developer

**The Opportunity** We are hiring for a **stealth\-mode crypto startup** building a new product in DeFi / token infrastructure. We need a **Smart Contract Developer** to write, test, and deploy secure production\-grade contracts. You'll work directly with the founder and a small engineering team. This is a hands\-on role — no fluff, just code and deployment. **What You'll Actually Do** * Design and implement smart contracts (Solidity / Rust / Solana depending on chain). * Write unit tests and deploy to testnets then mainnet. * Collaborate with frontend devs on contract integration (web3\.js/ethers). * Participate in code reviews and security best practices. * Document contract logic for internal and audit purposes. * Keep up with gas optimization patterns and upgradeable contract standards. **What You Must Have** * Experience: 2\+ years writing smart contracts professionally, not just hackathons. * Blockchain knowledge: Deep understanding of EVM or Solana. You know how storage, transactions, and gas work. * Languages: Solidity is required. Rust or Vyper is a plus. * Tools: Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle. Experience with OpenZeppelin libraries. * Security mindset: You know common vulnerabilities like reentrancy, frontrunning, overflow, and access control. * Version control: Comfortable with Git and GitHub workflows. **Nice to Have** * Previously audited contracts or passed an audit with no critical issues. * Open source contributions on GitHub. * Experience with ERC\-20, ERC\-721, ERC\-1155, or custom tokenomics. * Layer 2 experience on Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, or zkSync. * Basic frontend skills for testing using Next.js, wagmi, or viem. **What We Offer** * Competitive salary paid in USDC, USDT, or fiat. * Token allocation. * Fully remote work. * Flexible hours with regular team syncs. * Budget for gas and deployment costs. * Opportunity to grow into a lead architect role.
