Subject Matter Expert on AI/ML and/or Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) (Part Time, Remote)

Join our innovative team as a Part\-Time, Remote Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more of the following areas: \- Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning preferably related to Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs) \- Cybersecurity particularly related to CPS including cyberattacks and threats, attack surfaces, attack consequences, and countermeasures/controls SMEs will help research and write a technical report regarding CPS for NPPs. The work will take place over the course of approximately 12 months, and the level of effort will vary depending on the stage of the project. Requirements for the SME positions include: \- Master's degree in engineering or computer science **AI/ML SME:** \- 5\+ years of demonstrated experience in developing, organizing, and analyzing knowledge within the problem space of AI/ML \- Capability to get information on actual planned or anticipated uses of AI/ML in NPPs (such as contacts with Department of Energy national laboratories or outreach to nuclear vendors) \- Demonstrated research experience including the publication of research results \- Demonstrated technical writing and verbal communication skills \- Experience with government contracting is preferred. **Cybersecurity/CPS SME:** \- Detailed knowledge of and experience characterizing CPS cybersecurity issues including cyberattacks and threats, attack surfaces, attack consequences, and countermeasures/ controls \- Detailed knowledge of industry cybersecurity guidance, applications, and requirements \- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their implementation for cybersecurity purposes \- Demonstrated technical writing and verbal communication skills \- Experience with government contracting is preferred.
