How you'll make an impact in this role:
* Perform deep\-dive data profiling on source datasets to evaluate quality, completeness, and anomalies, ensuring data is primed for integration into enterprise platforms.
* Utilize Google BigQuery to execute complex SQL queries, validate transformations, and build reusable datasets and views to support downstream analytics.
* Conduct detailed data flow analysis to map source\-to\-target relationships, establish data lineage, and identify dependencies across databases and applications.
* Partner with product managers and data engineers to translate business needs into technical requirements and define scalable integration strategies.
* Lead root cause analysis for data discrepancies and monitor quality metrics to implement effective remediation and cleansing strategies.
* Support the testing of new ingestion pipelines and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including schema metadata and system inventories.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:
Education:* High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need:
* Technical Proficiency: Strong SQL skills (advanced queries, views) for data extraction and validation using BigQuery SQL or equivalent tool such as Redshift
* Data Profiling Tools: Strong hands\-on experience with data profiling tools (e.g., Informatica Data Quality, Talend, IBM InfoSphere, or techniques using SQL, specialized Python libraries and relational database knowledge
* Proficient in Healthcare data modeling (Star Schema, Dimensional), metadata management, and applying data governance and stewardship best practices.
