Truck Dispatcher Training Instructor

We are seeking a qualified **Truck Dispatcher Training Instructor** to teach an in\-person training program in Minneapolis for students, job seekers, entrepreneurs, and professionals interested in trucking and logistics. **Position:** Truck Dispatcher Training Instructor **Location:** Minneapolis, Minnesota **Format:** In person **Schedule:** Part\-time / short\-term training program **Compensation:** Competitive and based on experience Responsibilities The instructor will teach practical sessions on truck dispatching, logistics industry basics, truck and trailer types, U.S. routes and freight zones, market analysis, driver communication, route planning, load boards, broker negotiation, load processing, transit updates, transportation documentation, reporting, and conflict resolution. The instructor will also provide real\-world examples, assignments, templates, and hands\-on training to help participants understand the full dispatching process from finding loads to completing transportation reports. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in truck dispatching, logistics, freight brokerage, carrier operations, or transportation. * Knowledge of load boards, route planning, freight rates, broker communication, and dispatch documentation. * Experience working with drivers, owner\-operators, carriers, or trucking companies. * Teaching, coaching, or workshop facilitation experience preferred. * Experience with adult learners, immigrant communities, or workforce programs is a plus. Education Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant professional dispatching, freight, or logistics experience may be considered in place of formal education.
