Web3 Community Lead

We’re seeking a **Web3 Community Lead** to take charge of expanding, nurturing, and activating our worldwide audience across Discord, Telegram, Twitter (X), and newer Web3 channels. You’ll act as the brand’s public face toward our users — and represent user feedback internally to product and engineering teams. This isn’t just about overseeing chats. You’ll shape the community’s culture, design engagement initiatives, manage a team of moderators, and convert passive followers into energetic, hands\-on contributors. **Key Responsibilities** * **Community Strategy** – Develop and roll out a roadmap for community growth and member retention, aligned with key project events (allowlist, testnet release, mint, token generation). * **Daily Engagement** – Drive real\-time discussions on Discord, Telegram, and Twitter (X). Keep conversations high\-value and minimize noise or spam. * **Moderation \& Safety** – Supervise a distributed team of both volunteer and paid moderators. Uphold conduct rules and manage urgent situations (fear/uncertainty/doubt, malicious links, mass raids). * **Content \& Activation** – Run interactive sessions (AMAs, trivia, memes, governance debates). Collaborate with marketing on promotional initiatives. * **Feedback Loop** – Gather and distill community input (reported issues, desired features, general sentiment) for product leads and executives. * **Analytics** – Measure and report on community health indicators (daily actives, churn rates, mood analysis, contributor conversion rates). * **Events** – Organize Twitter Spaces, Discord all\-hands calls, and recurring community chats. **What You Bring** *Must\-Have* * 2\+ years of community management experience within Web3 (DeFi, NFT collections, layer\-1/layer\-2 chains, blockchain gaming, or infrastructure projects) * Solid working knowledge of Discord (roles, automated bots, permissions, server insights) and Telegram (groups, broadcast channels, spam protection) * Proven track record of leading moderator teams and handling high\-pressure incidents * Strong written communication skills and an ability to craft engaging memes or copy * Ability to operate asynchronously across global time zones (particularly Asia\-Pacific, Europe, and North America) *Nice\-to\-Have* * Prior experience growing a token or NFT community from under 1,000 members to over 10,000 members * Familiarity with setting up basic moderation bots (MEE6, Wick, Sasuke) * Hands\-on experience with on\-chain activities (wallets, testnet interactions, claim processes) **You Are** * **Crypto\-native** – You’ve interacted with decentralized apps, moved assets across bridges, traded speculative tokens, or been part of a rug pull (and learned from it). * **Calm under pressure** – Market panic or negative sentiment doesn’t rattle you; you know how to de\-escalate without resorting to heavy\-handed censorship. * **Community\-obsessed** – You genuinely appreciate engaging with anonymous traders, builders, and passionate fans. **What We Offer** * Competitive cash compensation / token grant \+ possible equity component * 100% remote work with flexible scheduling * Dedicated budget for mod team support, community software, and hosted events * Direct collaboration with founding team and engineering leads * Opportunity to help define a major Web3 brand from its early stages Pay: $65,713\.00 \- $94,132\.00 per year Work Location: Remote
