Character Designer

**Job Overview** We are seeking a talented and creative Illustrator to assist in creating 3 main characters for our children's music learning book that will have a modern "video game" aesthetic. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic vision and the ability to translate concepts into visually compelling illustrations. This project will require proficiency in various design tools and techniques, as well as a passion for creating engaging visual content that resonates with our parents and children alike. \*The pay rate will not be $30 an hour, we will negotiate a fair pay for the completion of our project. **Responsibilities** * Create original illustrations for a one main project, which will be a digital design. * Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and visual storytelling strategies. * Utilize graphic design skills to enhance illustrations and ensure they align with project goals. * Present ideas and concepts clearly to team members and clients, incorporating feedback into final designs. * Maintain organized files of all artwork and ensure timely delivery of the project. **Requirements** * Proven experience as an Illustrator or in a similar role, showcasing a strong portfolio of work. * Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). * Excellent communication skills to present ideas effectively and collaborate with team members. * Attention to detail and ability to meet our deadline.
