**About LOVB (League One Volleyball):**
League One Volleyball (LOVB) is reimagining women's sports. Launched in 2019, our company is a mission\-led sports performance, training and media enterprise that will change the game of volleyball in the USA and empower new generations of female athletes.
It is a groundbreaking time for volleyball in the US with our historic triple Olympic Gold medals in Women's Indoor, Beach and Sitting Volleyball. Volleyball is already the \#1 most played girls' youth sport. There are 38M current and former players today. Of major sports, it's the only one that is women\-first (\~90% of players are female). But the volleyball market has been almost
entirely missed by traditional sports investors, brands, and media.
LOVB is capturing this opportunity by creating a strong club business, and from that built\-in audience and fandom, is creating the best Pro League in the world and a digital ecosystem that will connect all aspects of LOVB. This community\-up approach will drive participation and fandom, while enabling greater empowerment for girls and young women living this amazing sport. In this role, you will join a mission\-driven, roll\-up\-your\-sleeves team of innovators and builders who have come together to change the paradigm of professional volleyball and women’s sports.
**Job Summary:**
The Director of Brand Marketing will lead the development and execution of integrated brand campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and fan growth for LOVB Pro. This role is responsible for stewarding the league’s brand identity across all channels, ensuring consistent storytelling and high\-impact execution across paid, owned, and earned platforms.
This leader will oversee agency relationships, creative asset development, campaign planning, and marketing analytics—translating strategic priorities into measurable brand and revenue outcomes. The Director will partner cross\-functionally with Ticketing, Partnerships, Media, Social, and Events teams to ensure cohesive, data\-driven marketing efforts across the league and team markets.
The ideal candidate combines creative brand instincts with strong operational rigor and analytical fluency.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
#### **Brand Strategy \& Positioning**
* Champion and evolve LOVB Pro’s brand positioning, voice, and visual identity.
* Ensure consistency of messaging and creative standards across all platforms and markets.
* Translate enterprise strategy into compelling brand narratives and seasonal campaigns.
* Protect and strengthen brand equity across league, team, and community touch points.
#### **Integrated Marketing Campaigns**
* Lead the planning and execution of fully integrated marketing campaigns across paid media, digital, social, in\-venue, broadcast, and grassroots channels.
* Develop go\-to\-market strategies for season launches, playoffs, championships, and key league initiatives.
* Ensure campaigns are aligned with ticketing, partnership, and merchandise revenue goals.
* Partner with Performance Marketing to align brand and acquisition strategies.
#### **Agency \& Partner Management**
* Serve as primary point of contact for creative, media buying, and strategic marketing agencies.
* Develop briefs, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables meet brand standards and business objectives.
* Evaluate agency performance and optimize partnerships for efficiency and impact.
* Oversee production budgets and campaign ROI.
#### **Creative Asset Development**
* Oversee development of creative assets including campaign toolkits, brand guidelines, digital content packages, OOH, broadcast spots, and in\-venue materials.
* Ensure scalable asset creation that can be localized across Pro League markets.
* Partner with Creative, Content, and Social teams to maintain visual and narrative consistency.
* Manage asset distribution processes across teams and internal stakeholders.
#### **Data, Insights \& Performance Optimization**
* Partner with Analytics and Performance Marketing teams to define campaign KPIs and success metrics.
* Use data insights to inform targeting, messaging refinement, and budget allocation.
* Analyze brand health metrics, engagement trends, and campaign performance.
* Develop reporting dashboards that translate marketing performance into actionable insights.
* Continuously optimize marketing investments based on ROI and fan growth data.
#### **Cross Functional Collaboration**
* Work closely with Ticketing, Commercial Partnerships, Media, Events, and Sport leadership to ensure aligned messaging and execution.
* Support sponsor integration within brand campaigns.
* Coordinate seasonal planning calendars across departments.
* Serve as a brand gatekeeper while remaining collaborative and solutions\-oriented.
#### **Local Marketing Operations\- Atlanta, Madison \& Salt Lake (teams subject to change)**
* Manage and support marketing operations for the Atlanta, Madison, and Salt Lake LOVB teams on a day\-to\-day basis.
* Ensure local \-level marketing efforts are aligned with league brand standards, seasonal campaign priorities, and local market needs.
* Coordinate with local team staff and league marketing team to develop and execute localized marketing plans.
* Surface opportunities to maximize cross\-market synergies and shared resources.
**Required Skills/Abilities:**
* Strong understanding of paid media strategy and omnichannel marketing.
* Experience developing scalable creative asset systems across multiple markets.
* Data\-driven mindset with experience analyzing campaign performance and optimizing spend.
* Strong project management and budget oversight skills.
* Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands\-on execution.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
* Thrives in fast\-paced, high\-growth environments.
* Ability to manage local Marketing \& Communications Managers
**Education and Experience:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required.
* 8\+ years of progressive experience in brand marketing, integrated campaigns, or agency leadership.
* Proven experience managing creative and media agencies.
* Experience in professional sports, media, entertainment, or high\-growth consumer brands preferred.
* Proficient in managing multi\-channel, multi\-market campaigns strongly preferred.
**Work Environment \& Physical Requirements (Remote):**
* Ability to operate a computer and use a keyboard, mouse, and video conferencing tools.
* Ability to clearly communicate via video, phone, and written channels.
* Occasional travel may be required for site visits and events.
