**BlackDog Advertising** is looking for a Social Media Managerto develop, coordinate and manage social media content for a diverse group of clients within the Travel, Tourism, Adventure and Leisure industries. In addition to developing and managing content, you will spend time strategizing and planning campaigns to increase audience following and participation, while ensuring campaigns maintain brand integrity, client goals and budget.
This **fully remote position** is a great opportunity to grow within a team, offer your insights and work on exciting projects.

**Looking for Candidates with the Following Attributes \& Skill Sets:**

* 2\-4 years of client services/agency experience working in content marketing and/or social media management
* Deep understanding of social media platforms and trends, driving strategic content creation and engagement initiatives
* Self\-starter; effective in managing projects from the ground up
* Strong content generation and copyproofing skills
* Ability to understand and adapt content to fit the individual style and tone of each client/brand
* Exceptional organizational skills and a high attention to detail
* Client\-focused with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* High level of problem\-solving and data analysis skills
* Comfortable working with statistics \& business math
* Must work well within a team environment
* Drive and passion to stay current with today’s marketing trends, standards and techniques, and thrive on taking the initiative to take our clients to new heights
**Roles and Responsibilities**

### **Content Strategy:**
* Work with Client Account Managers, Content Manager, Content Project Manager and Digital Marketing team to develop social media and influencer marketing strategies aligned with brand goals
* Develop engaging posts, campaigns, and social strategies to increase subscribers and encourage follower participation
* Build relationships and engage with influencers in order to recognize and create mutually beneficial opportunities for cross\-promotion
### **Content Creation:**
* Develop and schedule monthly content calendars across all social channels
* Write, organize, and edit copy for social posts
* Select and edit photos, video content, and animations using Canva
* Work with Client Account Managers, Content Manager, and Digital Marketing team to ensure the tone and style of content are consistent with clients’ brand, tone, look and feel
* Edit content created by team members for errors, typos, grammar, overall concept clarity and use of social media best practices
* When directed by the Client Account Managers or if you have an overflow, work with the copywriting team as well as the creative team on developing creative social content.
### **Community Management \& Engagement:**
* Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments
* Manage and monitor online polls, contests and giveaways promoted via social media channels
* Monitoring social media engagement, reviews and activity on all social media platforms
### **Social Media Analytics \& Reporting:**
* Track engagement metrics and generate reports
* Analyze data to optimize strategy and content performance
### **Additional Responsibilities:**
* Troubleshoot technical connection difficulties with Meta, Spark, Sprout, etc.
* Organizing and maintaining user\-generated images as well as general image banks
* In addition to company\-supplied training, maintains ongoing self\-training to ensure a high level of skills and knowledge
