Telecommunications Designer

**About Us** At Utility Design Specialists (UDS), our goal is to provide our clients with on time tailored design solutions that meet their specific project objectives by delivering clear and concise construction drawings that are detailed and easy to follow. Utility Design Specialists is looking for an experienced telecommunications Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in telecommunications design working with BlueBeam, AutoCad, Bentley and various GIS programs. The Designer will be responsible for creating basemaps and designs based on site surveys collected by our OSP field engineers. The Designer should have a working knowledge of fiber assignments for various telco architecture including centralized and distributive split/tap. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for design, and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team of professionals. Responsibilities: * Create designs that meet the client's needs and expectations. * Understand the principles of design, fiber assignments/schematics, proficiency in CAD, and attention to detail. * Work with a team to create designs that are visually appealing and meet client specifications. * Be able to take feedback and make changes to designs as needed.
