RemoteFull TimeClient Success **What we are looking for** --------------------------- We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a strong background in property accounting leveraging AppFolio software to join our team. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing accounting operations, and ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial services. The ideal candidate is detail\-oriented, proactive, and comfortable coordinating with internal teams while serving as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. **Job duties** -------------- * Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring timely and professional communication. * Manage client relationships and coordinate with internal accounting teams to deliver accurate and timely financial services. * Oversee a team of Bookkeepers and Senior Bookkeepers, ensuring the effective execution of core accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. * Review financial work prepared by the team, ensuring accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining high quality standards. * Coordinate operational activities related to property accounting, including property setup, owner distributions, and management fees. * Lead client meetings, document key discussions, and ensure follow\-up actions are completed. * Monitor deadlines, prioritize tasks, and ensure monthly deliverables are completed on time. * Escalate risks, operational issues, or client concerns to senior leadership when appropriate. **Requirements** ---------------- * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance * Certified Public Accountant preferred (or equivalent experience) * 2\+ years experience working with AppFolio (mandatory) * 2\+ years experience working with Yardi Breeze (desirable) * 2\+ years overall experience in real estate accounting/finance, ideally at an accounting firm working on real estate clients or directly at a real estate investment/development company * Able to lead Client meetings * Knowledge about recording purchases, dispositions, refinancing, capitalization of costs throughout real estate development, and rental property income statements * Passion for real estate, perfect books and providing business insights to clients * Strong English verbal and written skills as you will be one of the points of contact for the clients * Able to hit deadlines while staying calm under pressure * Extremely detail and process oriented \- you strive in creating organization * Proficient with communication and collaboration tools (Slack, Clickup, Workspace) **We would love you if you** ---------------------------- * You are a CPA * You are entrepreneurial in nature * You have experience managing multiple clients/projects at once * You have real estate experience outside of accounting * You have prior 'Big 4' or related work experience * You 'know enough to be dangerous' when it comes to real estate tax implications * You are hardworking, but easy to get along with even during times of increased workload **Location and schedule** ------------------------- This is a virtual (remote), full\-time role available only to candidates located in Philippines The position requires availability Monday\-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST **About REA** ------------- At REA, we're a fast\-growing, technology\-driven accounting company dedicated exclusively to the real estate industry.
