If you are a seasoned, highly strategic and solution\-oriented operations professional with deep experience in the beauty industry and deep experience working with both Brick \& Mortar Wholesale and eCommerce platforms… we would love to meet you! **The Opportunity:** We are looking for a Director of Brand \& Product to act as the connective tissue across product innovation, brand strategy, and retail marketing execution. This role owns the full lifecycle of our product portfolio \& pipeline development—from white space identification and consumer insights through campaign briefing, GTM launch planning, and in\-market performance—ensuring every product is grounded in insight, brought to life through compelling storytelling, and executed seamlessly across channels. As a critical leader within a growing organization, you will partner closely with Product Development, Operations, Sales, Creative and Integrated Marketing teams (as well as key retailers) to translate ideas into high\-impact launches that drive both brand heat and revenue. **What you’ll do:** Product Strategy \& Innovation * Manage the end\-to\-end product roadmap, from insight to concept to launch * Identify white space opportunities grounded in consumer, cultural, and competitive insights * Help build a pipeline that balances innovation, speed, and commercial viability * Partner closely with Product Development on formulation direction, claims, naming, pricing, and packaging * Lead and oversee new product messaging, claims development \+ educational support Brand \& Product Storytelling * Define positioning, messaging, and narrative frameworks for all new \& core products * Translate product truth (ingredients, benefits, results) into emotionally resonant storytelling \& compelling positioning * Ensure consistency and clarity of brand voice across all touchpoints 360 Go\-To\-Market Launch Leadership * Lead and oversee the end to end go\-to\-market campaign process, planning \& communication in close partnership with Integrated Marketing Communications \& Creative teams. * Lead and oversee the development of all campaign briefs – setting the strategic direction, as well as owning the cross\-functional relationships, communication, \& consolidation of deliverables * Support the development of brand, franchise \& product\-level campaign concepts that support key business objectives, * Build \& develop scalable launch playbooks while maintaining a culturally relevant, social\-first approach * Oversee launch recaps \& launch post\-mortems Commercial \& Retailer Marketing Execution * Partner with Sales teams to develop channel\-specific strategies and programs that support core business \& accelerate new product launches * Execute detailed calendar of product marketing and promotional programs, including sampling plan to drive recruitment * Support promotional planning, merchandising storytelling, and retail activation, including kits, sets, events \& GWP/merch strategy * Ensure alignment between brand vision and in\-store / online execution Cross\-Functional Leadership * Act as the central hub across Product Development, Creative, Sales, and Integrated Marketing Communications * Drive alignment, timelines, and accountability across all stakeholders * Operate as a player\-coach in a fast\-paced, high\-growth environment Performance \& Portfolio Management * Track launch performance and product health, using insights to inform future strategy * Optimize assortment and lifecycle strategies to maximize growth and efficiency Day\-to\-Day Brand Management Support * Prepare and support presentations for retailer meetings * Conduct competitive analysis to learn from industry trends in sales, new product development, competitive activations * Support development of marketing calendar and annual budget planning * Continuously protect \& calibrate the articulation of our brand across touchpoints to ensure brand equity \& resonance * Support in development of long\-term \& short\-term brand strategies to accelerate growth and exceed objectives. **Experience / Qualifications:** * 8\+ years of professional marketing experience * Experience in Beauty industry strongly preferred; passion for the industry is a must * Detailed, thorough \+ organized * Ability to synthesize data to drive business decisions * Comfortable driving deadlines and holding people accountable * Creative problem\-solving expertise * Ability to multi\-task \& juggle many projects under fast\-track timelines. * Ability to balance left \& right\-brain thinking to drive projects forward. * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during store visits and events. * Ability to lift and carry products and event materials up to 40 pounds as needed. **Compensation \& Benefits:** * Salary Range: $130,000 \- $150,000 annual, based on experience * Medical, Dental, Vision insurance, health care \& dependent care flex spending accounts * 401k with company match * Pet Insurance * Paid Family Leave * Company wellness allowance * Generous amount of Company Holidays \& PTO * Generous product allowance *dae provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristics protected by federal, state, or local laws.
