Job Description
Just Right Reader is a forward\-thinking curriculum provider committed to advancing literacy for students from Birth through 12th Grade. Our comprehensive resources are designed to support all learners, including upper\-grade students requiring additional intervention to develop foundational skills. Grounded in the Science of Reading, our high\-quality materials and tools equip educators with the support they need to accelerate achievement and foster lifelong readers.
**Position Overview:**
The Events Manager is responsible for coordinating the planning, logistics, execution, and follow\-up of Just Right Reader's events, conference participation, and partnership convenings. This role is highly execution\-focused and ensures events are delivered on time, on brand, and with strong internal alignment. This role supports partner\-facing event communication and manages event tracking, materials, and post\-event follow\-through. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience working independently in fast\-paced, remote work environments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Event Management**
* Coordinate end\-to\-end logistics for events, conferences, webinars, workshops, and partnership gatherings (timelines, schedules, vendor needs, onsite details).
* Serve as the primary coordination point between event hosts, state organizations, internal teams, and onsite staff to ensure smooth execution.
* Manage event planning workflows in Asana, including checklists, deadlines, internal assignments, and status updates.
* Coordinate event materials and onsite readiness (print assets, QR codes, business cards, booth needs, shipping, and supplies).
* Support travel logistics and onsite coordination for staff attending conferences and partnership events.
* Schedule and run internal pre\-event alignment meetings to confirm roles, final details, and deliverables.
* Lead post\-event wrap\-up processes, including debrief coordination, documentation, and follow\-up handoffs to appropriate teams.
**Data OwnershipHygiene**
* Own event\- and partnership\-related data accuracy across systems, including attendee lists, leads, partner records, and campaign attribution in HubSpot.
* Establish and maintain consistent processes for event data capture, tagging, uploads, and post\-event cleanup.
* Partner with Sales and Marketing to ensure event data flows correctly into pipelines and follow\-up workflows.
**AnalyticsReporting**
* Track and report on event and partnership performance metrics, including attendance, engagement, lead volume, lead quality, and downstream outcomes.
* Build and maintain simple dashboards or recurring reports to share event ROI and partnership impact with Sales and company leadership.
* Analyze trends across events and partnerships to inform future investments, prioritization, and strategy.
**Qualifications:**
* Demonstrated experience coordinating logistics, timelines, and communication for events, programs, or partner\-facing work, particularly in education or nonprofit settings.
* Strong organizational and project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple timelines at once.
* Proficiency with Google Workspace and comfort working in tools such as Asana, HubSpot, Slack, and Zoom.
* Experience with data collection and analysis.
* Clear, professional communication skills and ability to coordinate across internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Detail oriented, motivated and proactive.
* Ability to travel for select events and support onsite execution as needed.
**What Success Looks Like:**
* Events are well\-organized, professionally executed, consistently delivered on time, and within budget.
* Internal teams have clear visibility into event plans, responsibilities, and deadlines.
* Event materials, lead tracking, and post\-event follow\-up are accurate, timely, and complete.
* Partners and stakeholders experience responsive, organized, and high\-quality coordination.
**Why Join Us:**
At Just Right Reader, we're transforming how children learn to read. You'll be part of a passionate, growing team committed to educational equity, literacy innovation, and joyful learning.
* Mission\-driven company focused on improving literacy and education outcomes.
* Collaborative and innovative work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
* Competitive salary and benefits package.
