**Job Overview** Grant Gurus LLC is seeking a highly skilled and results\-driven **Freelance Grant \& RFP Writer** to support our growing roster of clients. This remote, contract\-based role is ideal for a professional who has a proven track record of securing significant grant funding and thrives in a fast\-paced, deadline\-driven environment. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in helping our clients secure funding for their programmatic or capital initiatives through compelling, well\-researched grant proposals and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). This role requires a deep understanding of nonprofit development, strategic planning, and fundraising best practices. **Key Responsibilities** * Research and identify potential grant opportunities and RFPs that align with client missions * Write clear, compelling, and customized grant proposals and RFP responses tailored to funder requirements * Collaborate with clients to develop strong narratives, accurate budgets, and detailed timelines for funding submissions * Review and revise draft proposals to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with funder guidelines * Track submissions and deadlines using client\-provided tools or internal systems * Prepare interim and final reports for funders as needed to demonstrate the effective use of awarded funds * Support strategic fundraising planning and program development efforts as needed**Required Qualifications** * Minimum of 3 years of professional grant writing experience with a strong portfolio of successful applications * Secured at least one grant of $25,000 or more within the last 12 months (required) * Excellent research, writing, editing, and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines Experience preparing budgets and financial documentation for grant applications * Familiarity with grant tracking tools and CRM platforms such as Instrumentl (preferred) * Experience responding to RFPs is highly desirable * Ability to work independently and collaborate virtually with cross\-functional team. **A Little About Us!** At Grant Gurus, we empower mission\-driven organizations and businesses alike by helping them secure the funding they need to make a difference.
