The ideal candidate should be comfortable maintaining legacy and modern web applications, contributing to secure and high\-quality code, working with CI/CD practices, and using AI\-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and prototyping. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop, enhance, and maintain secure web applications using C\#/.NET, Python, JavaScript, and SQL Server. * Create and iterate functional prototypes based on business or market requirements using AI\-assisted development tools. * Support application modernization, integrations, bug fixing, and performance improvements across the web application stack. * Collaborate with team members and customers to clarify requirements, estimate solutions, and deliver working software. * Communicate ideas, issues, risks, and impediments on time to support predictable delivery. Contribute to code quality through unit testing, clean design, maintainable implementation, and secure development practices. * ### **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered. * Mid\-level English proficiency for written and verbal communication with internal teams and customers. * 5\+ years of professional web application development experience using C\# and .NET / ASP.NET. * 2\+ years of hands\-on Python development experience for backend services, scripting, automation, integrations, or prototyping. * 5\+ years of JavaScript experience, including practical use of jQuery and TypeScript. * Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET, and Entity Framework 6 or higher. * Working knowledge of Angular and modern front\-end development practices. * Strong SQL Server experience, including database design, queries, stored procedures, and performance\-aware development. * Solid understanding of code quality practices, unit testing, design patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Code principles. * Knowledge of application security practices, including OWASP, authentication hardening, SQL Server security, and prevention of SQL injection vulnerabilities. * Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps. Experience using AI\-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, or Google AI Studio. * **Nice\-to\-Have Skills:** * Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue.js, or similar. * Experience working in the insurance, financial services, or regulated industries. * Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
