Contract Graphic Designer (Junior to Mid\-Level) Company: History Factory Duration: End of September – First week of November (Approx. 6 weeks) Hours: 20–40 hours/week (Project\-dependent; minimum 20 hours/week guaranteed) Location: Remote / Hybrid (Team alignment during core business hours) About the Role: History Factory is seeking a versatile, agency\-seasoned Graphic Designer on a short\-term contract basis to join our Design Team through October. You will work in close, daily collaboration with our core design and project teams to execute high\-impact work across a wide spectrum of mediums. We are not looking for a marketing\-only designer —we need an adaptable design mind who thrives across brand identities, exhibit and environmental design, publication/book design, and digital experiences. Key Responsibilities * Collaborate daily with History Factory’s core creative team on active client deliverables across physical, digital, and environmental touchpoints. * Develop creative pitch and design review decks for client and potential client presentations * Design and produce assets for diverse channels, including brand systems, milestone campaigns, spatial/exhibit graphics, publications, and web design. * Prepare and finalize production\-ready files for print, digital, and large\-scale exhibit fabrication. * Participate actively in team check\-ins, working sessions, and client/project briefings to align on direction and refine concepts iteratively. * Will be expected to communicate teams via email and internal Slack channels and DM chats Qualifications \& Requirements * Experience: 5\+ years of agency experience handling medium\-to\-large\-scale design projects. * Rapid Concepting: Adept at generating high\-volume, iterative design solutions with speed and agility, focusing on conceptual exploration before refinement. * Technical Expertise: Mastery of final production file preparation across web, print, and environmental/exhibit media. * Versatility: Proven track record designing across multiple formats (print, publication, web, spatial/environmental). * Collaborative Mindset: Availability and willingness to work in isolation and side\-by\-side with an extended project team * Timeline: Full availability starting the week of September 21 to allow for a comprehensive onboarding overlap period with the team.
