Licensed Title Agent – State Licensing \& Operations **TitleShield, a FundingShield Affiliate** **Salary:** $75,000–$95,000 per year **Location:** Remote **Employment Type:** Full\-Time LICENSE REQUIREMENT **An active Florida or Pennsylvania resident Title Agent license is required.** Candidates must currently hold an active resident title agent license in **Florida or Pennsylvania** and be eligible to serve in the applicable licensed or qualifying capacity for TitleShield, subject to applicable state requirements. TitleShield complements FundingShield's industry\-leading fraud prevention, cybersecurity, and loan\-level risk technology by providing a trusted title and closing solution from clearance through closing. As we expand our national title operations, we are seeking an experienced **licensed title professional** to play a key role in establishing and supporting TitleShield's operations across multiple states. ROLE SUMMARY We are seeking a **Florida\- or Pennsylvania\-licensed Title Agent** to serve in a key licensed capacity as TitleShield expands its title agency operations. The ideal candidate will have an active **Florida or Pennsylvania resident Title Agent license**, strong knowledge of title and closing operations, and experience working within the U.S. title insurance industry. This is **not a traditional administrative or closing coordinator position**. The individual will work closely with TitleShield management and operations to support state licensing, regulatory requirements, title operations, and the development of TitleShield's multi\-state platform. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of their licensed responsibilities while also supporting the day\-to\-day coordination and execution of title and closing transactions. The candidate's resident licensing credentials will support **TitleShield's broader multi\-state licensing and operational expansion**, subject to the licensing and regulatory requirements of each applicable state. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESState Licensing \& Operations * Serve in the appropriate licensed or qualifying capacity for TitleShield, subject to applicable state laws and regulatory requirements. * Support TitleShield's expansion and licensing efforts in additional states. * Maintain compliance with applicable title insurance licensing, appointment, and regulatory requirements. * Assist management in establishing state\-specific title agency operations, procedures, and workflows. * Coordinate with title insurance underwriters, regulators, and other relevant industry partners as necessary. * Maintain accurate records of licenses, appointments, continuing education, and other regulatory requirements. * Assist with applications, renewals, appointments, and other state licensing requirements. * Help develop scalable processes for TitleShield's growing national title operation. Title \& Closing Operations * Coordinate title and closing activity between outside title companies, settlement providers, TitleShield operations, and lender clients. * Review title and closing documentation for completeness and identify outstanding requirements. * Track transaction milestones and proactively follow up on outstanding items. * Communicate professionally with lenders, title companies, settlement agents, and other stakeholders. * Identify potential delays, operational issues, or compliance concerns and escalate appropriately. * Assist with establishing and maintaining consistent title and closing workflows across states. * Support management with operational projects related to TitleShield's continued expansion. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * **Active Florida or Pennsylvania resident Title Agent license — required.** * **3\+ years of professional experience in title, escrow, settlement, or a closely related real estate services environment.** * Strong understanding of U.S. title insurance and closing processes. * Working knowledge of title commitments, policies, settlement statements, and standard closing documentation. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. * Ability to independently manage responsibilities and exercise sound judgment. * Ability to work effectively with U.S.\-based clients and business partners. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn title production and transaction management systems. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience serving as a title agency manager, title officer, escrow officer, agency representative, or similar licensed professional. * Experience supporting a multi\-state title operation. * Experience working directly with U.S. mortgage lenders and title insurance underwriters. * **Additional active state title licenses beyond Florida or Pennsylvania.** * Experience with Resware or comparable title production software. * Familiarity with state title agency licensing and regulatory requirements. * Experience working with national title or settlement operations.
