About the Role
For A Bright Future Foundation is seeking a Marketing \& Strategic Partnerships Coordinator to expand the Foundation’s visibility, relationships, and impact in key markets. This role will be responsible for developing market\-specific strategies, building and supporting local committees, creating strategic partnerships, and developing marketing initiatives that increase awareness and support fundraising efforts.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a connector, builder, and strategic marketer who can move comfortably between developing a marketing campaign, recruiting a group of executives to a local committee, coordinating a community event, and presenting the Foundation’s mission to a potential partner or donor.
They should be highly proactive, organized, personable, and comfortable representing the Foundation externally. Most importantly, they should be passionate about building relationships and creating measurable awareness and engagement around the Foundation’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
Committee \& Strategic Partnership Development – 40%
* Develop and establish Foundation committees in key markets, including Dallas, Miami, Los Angeles, New York City, and other priority markets.
* Identify, recruit, and cultivate influential business leaders, community members, executives, and potential donors to participate in local committees.
* Develop market\-specific outreach strategies and relationship\-building plans.
* Create and manage partnerships with corporations, community organizations, sponsors, and other strategic partners.
* Develop sponsorship opportunities and support fundraising initiatives.
* Coordinate committee meetings, activities, events, and follow\-up efforts.
* Establish measurable goals for each market and track progress against defined objectives.
Foundation Marketing \& Brand Awareness – 30%
* Develop and execute campaigns designed to increase awareness, engagement, and support for the Foundation.
* Create market\-specific marketing strategies and initiatives that align with the Foundation’s mission and goals.
* Develop content and marketing materials, including presentations, donor materials, newsletters, social media content, event materials, and other communications.
* Review and strengthen the Foundation’s existing marketing assets, including the website, PowerPoint presentations, donor materials, and other collateral.
* Ensure consistent messaging, branding, and storytelling across Foundation communications.
* Partner with internal teams and external vendors as needed to execute campaigns and marketing initiatives.
* Track and report on marketing performance, engagement, and brand\-awareness metrics.
Portfolio Company Marketing Support – 30%
* Provide marketing support to select portfolio companies and related initiatives.
* Assist with developing marketing strategies, campaigns, presentations, events, and communications.
* Support business development and partnership initiatives through targeted marketing and outreach.
* Help coordinate cross\-company marketing opportunities and community engagement initiatives.
Success Metrics
* The Marketing \& Strategic Partnerships Coordinator will be expected to establish clear goals and measurable outcomes for each market and initiative, including:
* Number and quality of market committees established
* Committee member recruitment and engagement
* Number and quality of strategic partnerships developed
* Sponsorship and fundraising opportunities generated
* Growth in Foundation awareness and community engagement
* Event attendance and engagement
* Website, social media, and campaign engagement
* Qualified leads and donor prospects generated
* Growth and engagement within key geographic markets
* Effectiveness and consistency of Foundation marketing materials and messaging
Qualifications \& Key Skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
* Experience in marketing, strategic partnerships, business development, community engagement, fundraising, or a related field.
* Strong relationship\-building and networking skills.
* Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong storytelling and presentation skills.
* Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, or similar platforms.
* Experience coordinating events, committees, sponsorships, or community initiatives.
* Strong organizational and project management skills.
* Comfortable working with executives, business owners, community leaders, and a wide range of organizations.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative in developing new opportunities.
* Willingness to travel to key markets and events as needed.
* Comfortable working in a fast\-paced, entrepreneurial environment with changing priorities.
