Part-Time Video Editor (Remote)

Picture Perfect Video is a premium video marketing agency producing cinematic content for hospitality, entertainment, experiential and fitness brands across Las Vegas, Dallas and Los Angeles. Our clients include resort properties, entertainment venues and private schools. We are hiring one part\-time editor to join our remote team on a monthly retainer. This is ongoing work, not a one\-off project. WHAT YOU WILL DO Edit short\-form vertical content, highlight reels and brand films from raw footage shot by our production teams. Color grade every delivery to a premium standard. Build sound design and pacing that holds through the full runtime. Create clean lower thirds, titles and light motion graphics. Generate AI reference clips and B\-roll when a shoot did not cover something, and grade them to match live\-action footage. WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BE GREAT AT, IN THIS ORDER 1\. COLOR GRADING. This is the skill we weight most heavily. You must be able to balance and match footage shot to shot, keep skin tones clean, match drone footage to ground footage, and build a creative look that fits a brand. If your color is strong, the rest is teachable. 2\. SOUND DESIGN AND PACING. Cuts that land on the beat. Correct levels. Whooshes, impacts, ambient beds and risers used with taste. Energy that builds and holds through the entire runtime, not just the first three seconds. 3\. DESIGN AND MOTION. Clean typography, lower thirds and simple motion graphics that read as premium and corporate, never cluttered. 4\. AI FLUENCY. You can write a detailed generation prompt, produce a usable AI clip, and grade it so it cuts seamlessly against real footage. REQUIREMENTS 3 or more years editing professionally. Strong command of DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro. Reliable high\-speed internet and a machine that can handle 4K. Available roughly 20 hours per week with some overlap into US business hours. Comfortable working from written briefs with minimal supervision. A reel that shows your color work, not just your cutting. WHAT WE OFFER 1,000 USD per month, paid monthly, for 20 hours per week. Consistent ongoing volume, not feast and famine. Real brands and real budgets, not spec work. Clear written standards so you always know how you are being graded.
