Join ArgonDigital as a Senior Developer! We are seeking a Senior Developer to join our technical team, working on enterprise web applications and platform solutions. This role requires strong full\-stack development skills with React (TypeScript) on the frontend, FastAPI (Python) on the backend, and PostgreSQL for data persistence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using React, TypeScript, and Python * Build and customize web application frontends utilizing React component architecture, hooks, and modern state management patterns * Design and implement RESTful and async API endpoints using FastAPI for system integrations and data exchange * Develop custom integrations leveraging third\-party and internal APIs for automated data processing and management * Create reusable TypeScript components and Python modules to facilitate code reuse and simplify development processes * Design, model, and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and migrations * Collaborate with Technical Architects and project stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions * Participate in code reviews to ensure quality deliverables and best practices * Support platform upgrades and maintenance activities * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members * Use AI coding harnesses and assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) as part of the day\-to\-day development workflow to accelerate implementation, testing, and code review Position Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field * 5\+ years of software development experience * Proficiency in TypeScript and Python programming languages * Experience with web application development and RESTful/async web services * Knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database design * Understanding of software development lifecycle and version control systems (Git, SVN) * Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Preferred Qualifications * Experience with React (3\.x/4\.x\-equivalent modern versions) and the broader React ecosystem * Experience with FastAPI or comparable Python async web frameworks * Experience with PostgreSQL performance tuning and query optimization * Familiarity with Elasticsearch and/or Opensearch * Understanding of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker) * Experience working in MacOS, Linux and Windows environments * Comfort working with AI coding harnesses and agentic dev tools as part of a modern engineering workflow Ideal Candidate **Full\-Stack Expertise:** Hands\-on experience building production web applications end\-to\-end, from React frontend to FastAPI backend to PostgreSQL data layer. **Frontend Capabilities:** Strong frontend development experience including: * React with TypeScript for type\-safe, maintainable UI code * CSS\-in\-JS or utility\-first CSS for styling and responsive design * Modern state management and data\-fetching patterns (React Query, Zustand, etc.) **Backend Capabilities:** Strong backend development experience including: * FastAPI for building performant, well\-documented async APIs * Pydantic for data validation and serialization * SQLAlchemy or comparable ORMs for PostgreSQL data access **Integration Experience:** Proven ability to create custom integrations and automations across internal and third\-party systems. **Enterprise Solution Background:** Experience working on enterprise\-level projects with complex requirements and multiple stakeholders. **Technical Leadership:** Ability to provide technical guidance and work independently while collaborating effectively with cross\-functional teams. **Continuous Learning Mindset:** Enthusiasm for staying current with emerging technologies and best practices in modern full\-stack web development.
