We believe social media should do more than just “post content.” It should help organizations connect with people, tell meaningful stories, strengthen engagement, and support the mission behind the ministry. We are looking for a highly creative and detail\-oriented Social Media Manager to join our growing remote team on a part\-time contract basis. About the Role This is a fully remote position for someone who genuinely enjoys social media strategy, content planning, writing captions, visual storytelling, and helping ministries communicate effectively online. You’ll be managing and helping grow social media accounts for churches and faith\-based organizations across platforms like Instagram and Facebook. The ideal candidate is both creative and organized — someone who notices small details, communicates professionally, meets deadlines consistently, and can think proactively rather than simply waiting for instructions. What You’ll Be Doing * Managing social media accounts for churches and nonprofits * Creating and scheduling engaging content * Writing captions that feel authentic and mission\-driven * Designing graphics and simple visual content * Helping plan content calendars and campaign ideas * Monitoring engagement and responding when needed * Collaborating with our internal team remotely * Maintaining brand consistency across accounts * Helping ministries communicate clearly and effectively online Ideal Candidate We are especially interested in candidates who: * Have experience serving in or working with Christian churches or ministries * Understand church culture, ministry communication, and faith\-based audiences * Are highly detail\-oriented and organized * Have strong written communication skills * Have a strong eye for design and social media trends * Can work independently and manage deadlines well * Are proactive, dependable, and easy to communicate with remotely * Have experience using tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer, etc. Requirements * Previous social media management experience * Portfolio/examples of past work REQUIRED * Reliable internet and ability to work remotely * Strong communication skills * Part\-time contractor position (1099\) To Apply Please send: * Your resume * A short introduction about yourself * Links or examples of social media accounts you’ve managed * Any church/ministry experience you may have * Your typical availability each week We are looking for someone who truly cares about helping organizations communicate with excellence online — not just someone looking to schedule posts.
