Software Engineer

Turing is looking for candidates with strong experience in software development, programming, and system design. **Role overview:*** In this role, you will contribute to projects that help evaluate and enhance AI systems using your software engineering expertise and analytical problem\-solving skills. * No prior AI experience is required. These projects will help you explore how AI can be leveraged to improve software reasoning, coding accuracy, and development efficiency. * **What does day\-to\-day look like:*** Design and solve real\-world software engineering and algorithmic problems to test AI reasoning. * Write clear, step\-by\-step coding solutions across data structures, APIs, debugging, and optimization techniques. * Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to software design principles. Collaborate with researchers to refine AI understanding of code generation, problem\-solving, and real\-world development workflows. * **Requirements:*** 4\+ years of experience as a Software Developer, Engineer, or Programmer. * Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C\+\+, or Go. * Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and agile development methodologies preferred.
