**Schedule \& Pay:** 15–20 hours/week to start \| $20\.00\-25\.00/hour base \+ 25% commission on all bookings secured **About the Role** We're seeking a motivated, well\-connected Booking Assistant to secure DJ bookings for **The International DJ Casper** — a Philadelphia\-born DJ and producer with film credits (*Deadpool*), national TV appearances (OWN's *Ready for Love*), a growing live\-event brand, **Mixtape House Party** and over 8 Million views on YouTube! YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwJ3dRtQow40COr5RB\_ICUw You'll be the driving force behind filling the calendar: researching venues, making outbound calls, building relationships with talent buyers, managers, and event coordinators, and closing booking deals. **Key Responsibilities** * **Prospect \& research:** Build and maintain a pipeline of target venues — clubs, bars, lounges, hotels, colleges, event spaces, and private event planners — in Philadelphia and other markets * **Outbound outreach:** Call venues directly to pitch DJ Casper for weekly residencies, special events, private parties, and corporate bookings; follow up persistently but professionally * **Build relationships:** Develop rapport with talent buyers, general managers, music programmers, promoters, and event coordinators * **Qualify leads:** Gather key details for each opportunity — venue capacity, DJ budget, event dates, sound/equipment setup, audience demographics * **Negotiate \& close:** Present booking rates and terms (within provided guidelines), negotiate fees, and secure signed confirmations * **Coordinate logistics:** Once booked, relay event details to DJ Casper — date, time, load\-in, equipment needs, compensation, and point of contact * **Track everything:** Maintain a pipeline in a spreadsheet or CRM — contacts, call outcomes, follow\-up dates, bookings, and revenue * **Support the brand:** Share venue intel, market feedback, and opportunities for the Mixtape House Party pop\-up concept * **Contract support:** Assist with basic booking confirmations/agreements and ensure deposits are collected before event dates **What We're Looking For** * 1\+ years of experience in any of the following is a strong plus: talent booking, artist management, venue/talent buying, entertainment promotions, nightlife/hospitality, or sales (cold calling experience transfers well) * Confident on the phone — comfortable making dozens of cold calls and hearing "no" without losing momentum * Excellent organization and follow\-up; you keep a clean pipeline and never let a lead go cold * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal * Familiarity with Philadelphia's music/nightlife scene is a major plus * Self\-starter who can work independently, set their own daily call targets, and be motivated by uncapped commission **Nice to Have** * Existing relationships with venues, promoters, or talent buyers in Philadelphia or other markets * Experience with CRMs or pipeline tools (Spreadsheets, HubSpot, Monday, etc.) * Interest in music, sports, nightlife, and culture **Compensation** * **$20\-25/hour base** (15–20 hours per week) * **\+ 25% commission on every booking you secure** — this is the real upside.
