As a Freelance Photo Editor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping compelling narratives through expertly curated and meticulously edited photographs. Your technical proficiency and artistic eye will elevate our visual content, ensuring it resonates with audiences worldwide.

Duties

• Edit and enhance photographs using industry-standard media editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, and Adobe Bridge to achieve high-quality visual results.
• Perform color correction editing and photo manipulation to ensure images meet project specifications and artistic standards.
• Collaborate with photographers and creative teams to understand project goals and deliver images that align with storytelling objectives.
• Manage post-production workflows efficiently, including file organization, version control, and delivery via File Transfer Protocol (FTP) or content management systems.
• Incorporate graphic design elements, typography, or motion graphics when needed to enrich visual storytelling projects.
• Maintain technical proficiency across media editing tools and stay updated on the latest trends in photo editing, color grading, and visual effects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in photo editing, manipulation, and post-production workflows with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical skill and artistic sensibility.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign; familiarity with Capture One is a plus.
• Strong understanding of color correction editing, photo manipulation techniques, and visual storytelling principles.
• Ability to work independently as a freelancer while managing multiple projects within deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with creative teams across different disciplines.
• Video Editing is a plus and must understand platforms like Premiere Pro, Da Vinci, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro
